Guest guest
Find someone who breastfeeds, if you can, and ask for---literally---a few drops. We cured ours here with two applications of fresh milk. Maeghan Magda Velecky wrote: > > Hi , > I tried to let mine run its course, but finally got irritated. Guest guest
Thank you all for your suggestions. I am not sure why I didn't even think of breastmilk...I have used it in the eyes of my babies for infected blocked tear ducts in the past. It never occurred to me to use it in my own eyes or my older child's eyes though. Amazing stuff!! I'm sure it will work.
Guest guest
You are correct. I just usually look to pulsatilla first because it's worked for my kids (and dog!) for a number of things. I understand how you feel since I detoxified through my eyes for 3 months when I did my candida program. Some people get very pink, even red, eyes if they eat anything not on the diet list. There wasa guy in my candida support group in 1987 who would cheat. His wife and everyone else knew immediately since his eyes were a fiery red. gave a very good suggestion to use chickweed. Guest guest
Hi Dawn, I just checked Bee's website and you are doing the right things with the tea compresses etc. I would just keep up what you are doing. Breast milk and coconut oil are also good. Can you explain to your husband that Tylenol is just another chemical that she will need to detoxify? If she is not really in pain, then Tylenol isn't going to do anything for her anyway. It seems it is already getting better on its own if she is getting less goop today. Hang in there! (a group moderator) > > Hey all, > The search isn't working for me. Does anyone have any tips for pink eye. We have been doing the tea compresses along with warm and cool compresses throughout the day. My 3 year old won't tolerate a wash and the tears seem to wash away any breastmilk or oil I try to get in there. She had really thick green goop coming out yesterday, with just a little bit today. My husband is going Tylenol crazy with her (Nothing I can do). I am fearing he will push for antibiotics soon. If there's anything else I can do... > Thanks, > Dawn >
Guest guest
, The more I try to educate him, the more pushy he is with the carbs/fruit and meds. I already snapped at him once this weekend regarding my daughter. I find it best to do all I can and just limit the " Dad " treatments as much as possible. I keep trying to get her on the diet, but it is almost impossible with her resistance and dad's. It really is frustrating and I so wish we could do this as a family, but some people will never question what they have always accepted as true. I hope the compresses will help her. I keep wondering what she is detoxing so heavily through her eyes. She recently started pre-k, and I wonder if their super clean environment is at fault. They use some pretty powerful cleaners, I would imagine anyway. Thanks for the encouragement, Dawn > > > > Hey all, > > The search isn't working for me. Does anyone have any tips for pink eye. Guest guest
Hi Dawn, I recently helped my sister with her baby's pink eye. If I can remember correctly, she washed her eye with a cotton ball soaked in a mixture of 1/2 tsp vitamin crystals, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp Epsom salt dissolved in 1 cup warm filtered water. Wipe/wash the eye 4 times a day. She said it worked to take the pink color out in the first couple days and then the discharge went away shortly after. Also, just a side note. . . we have been taught that pink eye is horribly contagious, and I wanted to put the germ theory to the test so I took my finger and wiped it through my niece's pink eye and rubbed it into mine. Sounds gross I know. But I did not get pink eye! I guess it's not so contagious after all. Good luck. - > > Hey all, > The search isn't working for me. Does anyone have any tips for pink eye. Guest guest
My sister reminded me this morning that there was not Epsom salt in the wash for her baby's eye, although I don't think it would harm her as I always put Epsom salt in my baby's baths and wash his face and hair with the bath water. - > > > > Hey all, > > The search isn't working for me. Guest guest
Thanks . My daughter's look so much better this am Bahrain has a little red in one eye and no goop. BUT, I may try your recipe on me bc I woke up with runny eyes with some crust. I threw some CLO in my eye last night, but will definitely do some washes today. I didn't purposely wipe anything in my eye, but I wasn't neurotic about washing my immediately after. Who knows? I did wish that I could take her place, so maybe that's what did it! Guest guest
Thanks Pamela, I've read about using boric acid, but I've never used it before so I didn't give it a go. If mine doesn't improve by tonight, I may need to go find some. I just soaked with 's mix and that felt good. Thanks so much, Dawn > I do know how to cure pink eye. You need to buy boric acid from the drug store. Boil water and in an 8 ounce glass of boiled water put a tablespoon of boric acid. Stir and let cool. take the cooled water mixture and a washrag and douse your eye with it 3 times a day. Mine usually always heals within 24 hours this way. Boric acid will not burn your eyes and is a common over the counter mix sold at the store.  I got this recipe out of a book called Home Remedies for Candida. >  > Hope this helps. I have done it for years and its quite safe. Have even done it on swollen eyes on my dog. >  > Pamela from Maui > > > > >

During my candida program in the late 1980s I detoxified through my eyes for 3 months, with all kinds of goop like you describe. Also there was guy in my candida support group back then, whose eyes turned a bright red whenever he cheated. It was like neon lights flashing " I cheated " to everyone, including his wife. lol! Tylenol is a pain killer so it wouldn't be used for pink eye anyway. Like suggested just use tea compresses which are very soothing, however your daughter's eyes just need to finish detoxifying themselves and not have any interferences or more toxins like Tylenol. I detoxified through my eyes for 3 months when I did my candida program in the 1980s. It is best to let Nature take its course and allow your body to do the detoxifying it needs to, without interference. Tea compresses help sooth your eyes, but healing comes from within, so when your body finishes detoxifying through your eyes it will stop. Boric acid should not be used for treating any area of the body - see this: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/mn4.php There are no quick fixes for pink eye, which is simply toxins coming out through the eyes, so please read my replies to messages about it that I wrote this morning. I'm off every Tuesday to do research, write articles, etc. Bee

Guest guest
My daughter has been sick with cold symptoms for about 4 days and yesterday her right eye got very goopy and red. I'm assuming it's bacterial and will need antibiotic eye drops. Is there anything that's more natural I can start her on today before we get into the doctor tomorrow? Also, I started her on OLE this week and am wondering if it's a coincidence that she now has the eye infection or if the OLE could have stirred anything up. Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks for your help.

Has anyone experienced this before? When I started OLE here to help address viruses, it caused a major yeast overgrowth problem as the viruses were dying off. Try increasing the yeast protocol, see if that helps. She may not tolerate the OLE, is the skin on her face really dry? Try removing it and see if that helps. Guest guest
I use Simulsan pink eye relief drops. It's homeopathic. I have also used colloidal silver (trioxysilver), one drop in the infected eye. Very effective. Some people don't like using c. silver because it is a metal, but I'm not too concerned with it since it is used as the preserving agent in the homeopathic drops, and I use it sparingly. If you are still breastfeeding, you could use a diluted drop of antiseptic soap or baby shampoo to wash the eye first, and then use a couple drops of breastmilk. I would have used this remedy, but am all out of breastmilk. : ) I haven't read about any connections to yeast and OLE, but it's possible, yeast making the body susceptible. Take a look at Earthclinic: http://www.earthclinic.com/CURES/viral_conjunctivitis.html I've found a lot of effective remedies there. When sleeping keep your daughter sleeping face up, or if on the side, sleep on her right side so there is little chance that the left eye gets infected by a stray tear from the right. Wash hands religiously, wash any towels used to dry her face, if it's windy out wear sunglasses. Much luck, Sheila
Guest guest
Thanks for the responses. I am actually still breastfeeding my younger daughter, so will have to try that. I think she is tolerating the OLE, but will watch for the dry skin. I was not thinking yeast, but this makes sense as we are heavily targeting viruses right now - Virastop, Lysine, OLE, and recently increased vitamin C. And her yeasty behaviors have been worse. We're using biotin and GSE for yeast right now. Is there anything else I should add? You can increase the doses of what you are using now [start by giving the same dose but more frequently]. OoO is good. Candidase or Candex. There are lots of options.
