Guest guest
I know ALA can be used transdermally and compounded. The DMSA is damaged by oxidation and isn't stable for transdermal use. Although I have seen it offered transdermally by another DAN doctor but I don't think it's using the AC protocol for usage. I don't think any form of DMPS can be used without a prescription and most compounds need a PRESCRIPTION. > > Due to GI problems I cannot use chelators like DMSA and ALA orally. > Is there any where I can buy transdermal chelators without a prescription? Guest guest
No first the dosing is based on half life so you would have to give a suppository every 3-4 hours through the night. Also ask a clinical psychologist the effects of constant suppository use on a child, very harmful. Nearly every child I have heard of does fine on the traditional AC protocol which is oral chelators, a very very select few need transdermal for some rounds and then can switch to oral. > > > > > > Due to GI problems I cannot use chelators like DMSA and ALA orally. > > > Is there any where I can buy transdermal chelators without a prescription? > >Especially I would like to get TD-DMPS. > > > > > > What about blending the chelators in a lotion? > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
I hear that AC protocol kicks up a lot of yeast? Would that be the same for suppository? I never thought about the effects of constant suppository....but it is something to definitely think about. I just thought it may be easier? Thanks for the info! ________________________________ From: ideals04 <ideals04@...> Sent: Wed, March 2, 2011 10:06:40 PM Subject: [ ] Re: Transdermal chelators No first the dosing is based on half life so you would have to give a suppository every 3-4 hours through the night. Guest guest
Any chelation is going to effect yeast, any. The administration of chelators does not have an effect on the physiological process by which the body eliminates metals. Iv vs suppositories vs oral chelators = all eliminate metals same way which will effect yeast. I do however know that there is very little you can do that will have such a devastating negative impact such as consistent suppository use. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
