Guest guest
I have had this in the past and I am postmenopausal as well; it is nothing but a milk duct that can be blocked and then discharges. Did you ever breastfeed? This is common and nothing to worry about. It will resolve on its own but can come and go. Guest guest
this may be a long shot....but have you been tested for Hashi's/hypothyroidism? This exact breast discharge was something I had very early in my hashi's/hypo history...in the year or two after childbirth in my 20s. It's my belief it may be associated with TSH receptor antibodies (1/3 of hashi's folks have these antibodies)...which are associated with skin disorder...to include nipple hyperplasia...so make sure Free T4 and Free T3 are checked along with the usual TPO and Antithyroglobulin antibodies...since TSH receptor blocking antibodies can keep the TSH falsely low. cindi >. > > I have had a problem now for a year with one breast. Guest guest
Hi Cindi, I have TSH panel done when this first started. TSH panel came back in normal range... So, do you think I should have Free T4 and FreeT3 checked? Is it a blood test?? I'm really not knowledgeable in this area about any of this. Thanks, Carroll Re: Need Advice this may be a long shot....but have you been tested for Hashi's/hypothyroidism? Guest guest
What was your TSH? The new recommended top end of the range is now 3...many labs aren't showing that on their forms...but actually anything over 2 is very very suspicious for hypo. yes..the Free T4 and Free T3 are blood labs - the actual thyroid hormones. cindi > > Hi Cindi, > > I have TSH panel done when this first started. Guest guest
Cindi, To be honest, I've no idea what the actual reading was on my TSH. It was done at a clinic, because I currently have no health insurance. Doctor just said, your TSH is fine. I do have a doctor that I can go to and request a new TSH and the Free T4 and Free T3. I'm wondering though, if I would start painting Phil's Iodine on the breast would do anything to improve the situation. Or if I should take Lugols by mouth, maybe a drop a day for 5 days and then rest it 2 days and repeat until I see any results. Your opinion? Thanks, Carroll Re: Need Advice What was your TSH? Guest guest
Hello No, I never breastfeed my son. Although, I wished I had later. This discharge is every night and has been for a year. Sometimes more, sometimes, less. Sometimes also have breast tenderness. But, only on the side with the discharge. Another thing, is that I've been under huge amount of stress...divorce, moving and my job. I'm sure this plays a part. Thank you for your email though, I never knew anybody else experienced this, postmenopausal!! I just to do all that I can to protect my "dense, small" breast at my age. Again, Thanks! Guest guest
you can always call and ask what it was...or ask for a copy of your lab sheet. My opinion would be....I'd always want to knows my thyroid status before starting iodine supplementation. The Iodoral info states: The suggested daily amount is 1-4 tablets/day as recommended by your physician. Work closely with your physician while on the Iodoral® program. Report to your physician any history of thyroid surgery and/or radiation, chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis (Hashimoto), and any previous problem with your thyroid. Before starting Iodoral®, your physician (He/She = He) will order blood tests for hematology, blood chemistry and thyroid functions. He will also perform an ultrasound of your thyroid to measure the size and appearance of your thyroid. Depending on the results of the thyroid function tests and ultrasound, he may order some blood tests for thyroid antibodies That being said...I and others have experienced good results with painting with Lugol's for certain skin conditions...but I don't think breast discharge has been mentioned by anyone. But for me, I would want to know the origin of the discharge...and to rule out Hashi's/hypo before painting with Lugol's. cindi > > Cindi, > > To be honest, I've no idea what the actual reading was on my TSH. Guest guest
If you think your doctor will " roll his eyes " or is just not knowledgable about this subject, why not order the iodine loading test yourself from Dr. Flechas' office? You will get a phone consult with Dr. Flechas along with the test results; for $110 this is very reasonable even without insurance. Also, a friend with invasive lobular breast cancer was told that this type of cancer does not show up on mammograms/ultra sound until later stages but that MRIs and thermograms can sometimes detect it earlier. Thermograms are much less expensive - why not get one done to give you peace of mind? Stress is bad for any type of cancer.
Guest guest
Hi Joan, I had friend with breast cancer, that did not show up on mammogram. Thank goodness she has gone through all the chemo etc., and has been free for 2 years. I've asked both doctors if they are suspect of any form of cancer, and both said NO. This type of cancer appears in only 2% of population. I guess I could get thermogram, when I can possibly get some extra money. Thanks, for the reply Re: Need Advice If you think your doctor will "roll his eyes" or is just not knowledgable about this subject, why not order the iodine loading test yourself from Dr. Flechas' office? Guest guest
One other question, did your discharge last for an extended period of time? This has been going on now for one year. Guest guest
Randy: I too have tested postive for C. Pneumonia (antibody test). Also, I'm HLA B27 negative. I've received a number opinions from various doctors. The general theme was to do absolutely NOTHING being I had no symptoms (i.e. coughing). However, I was told that C. Trachomatis antibodies are sometimes confused (cross referenced) with C. Pneumonia. In any event, after years of searching, testing and treating unknown / unseen diseases... I continue to also suffer from pain in my joints (feet, hips spine). I am currently taking doxy and rifampin to treat Reiters Syndrome. Conventional ID doctors think I'm nuts. Way too much medication for an unidentified disease / bacteria. But.. I've been through hell and back trying to figure our what's wrong w/ me. So... I'm giving the dual antibiotic therapy a shot. Been on the mix for 5 months. I haven't seen much progress but will continue to stay the course. In my very unprofessional opinion (but based on my research and experience w/ doctors), seems like doxy (100MG / 2x per day / 14 days) would cure C. Pnuemonia. So would 5 days of Zithromax. But then again I'm not a doctor .. Hope you feel better. --------------------------------- Moody friends. Drama queens. Your life? Nope! - their life, your story. Play Sims Stories at Games. Guest guest
Hi , Please forgive me for taking so long to respond to you, and thank you so much for two informative emails. I'll try to answer your questions... I've had reactive arthritis symptoms for 3 1/2 months now. Compared to the history I read about with other members, I appear to be in the honeymoon phase, and should have little to complain about....hopefully my symptoms will not get worse... hopefully, I won't get the urethitis - that sounds rough. My symptoms: Essentially I have had constant hand and feet swelling with an inability to withstand weight pressure on many bones/joints (e.g., the forearms, elbows, metatarsals, knees, butt, shoulders, etc..). I now experience hand pain that wakes me up during the night. I am (and it's becoming ..was) a very active athletic and fit 50 yr old. Unfortunately this ReA hit me like a switch turning on, with a case of conjunctivitis, which I never have had before. Now I can barely run and I have stopped playing competitive squash. I can continue to ride my bike to/fro work everyday and swim, as forms of continuing exercise. I pretty much am very fatigued by 10 pm - never was the case before. By the way, recent courses of Prednizone and Methotrexate was causing me more bad symptoms - particularly with my cardiovascular system, so I am very happy to be off that stuff. I am positive for Cpn (IGM low, IGG high, and IGA high). All my other tests, including all the HLV-B series, with B27, have returned normal, which I am very glad about. Therefore the current opinion is that the Cpn triggered my ReA. To that end I am on Doxy 100 mg daily, and will probably start Hydroxychloroquine 200 mg daily after I get a baseline eye checkup. I note that 200 mg Doxy appears to be the " standard " Rx. I also tried to discuss the CAP Doxy/Rifampin approach presented in the article you provided me. I can only imagine how frustrated you must feel after dealing with this for over 4 yrs! I am discouraged too, but trying very hard to beat the Cpn and ReA. I wish I had some appreciation of what my prognosis is....will I have this forever, will it go away, will the symptoms get worse or improve?.....I understand that everyone's ReA is different and dependent on what the triggering agent was. I gotta run.... Hang in there Randy --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NO. I've visiting every doctor in the USA to try to cure / resolve. I've been told this type of Chlamydia requires NO treatment by a top rated / well know doctor in NY. I've been experiencing all kinds of pain (breast bone, hips, feet, lower back and spine) for almost 4 years. Also had: ureathritis, dry eyes, mouth sores and dry skin. I've been to s Hopkins, Columbia / Cornell and other top rated Infectious Disease hospitals. I still have no answer. It's been one very frustrating experience. How long have you had ReA symptoms? lamachine <joeyjoey1231232002@...> wrote: Randy: I too have tested postive for C. Pneumonia (antibody test). Also, I'm HLA B27 negative. Guest guest
, We've had success using liquid zeolite to detoxify metals and alkalize the body. It's sure to be very acidic after that unwanted assault. I'm sad to hear your story. It's just unbelievable what's legal in the US. Liquid zeolite (a micronized, activated colloidal suspension really) has a negative charge that attracts positively charged toxins like mercury and aluminum. It will improve liver and kidney function which will help to get rid of the other junk too. I also suggest giving the kids a good probiotic since their guts will also be compromised. I'm sure Sherry will also offer her homeopathic advice for the viral part. She's the expert in that department. Guest guest
, If the child was so sick after his first set of shots, then you have cause to get a medical exemption. From the forums at MotheringDotCommune (http://mothering.com/discussions) I have learned that at least some states allow foster children to get the vaccines one at a time, as long as they get all of them. I highly recommend looking there (on MDC) and asking questions specific to your state. I hope this helps! ~Robyn wrote: > I have a question for you guys. I am wondering if they are dangerous? > Also, could I put some oil of oregano on that area to help? Any advice is appreciated. > I have to do the heavy work as my dh cannot do much anymore. > Are there belts one can wear, without getting a prescription? ==>Hi Mz Violet. You do have to be careful with a hernia. My friend has one too and he found the diet helped it a great deal. When he goes off the diet he has more problems. He wears a belt sometimes, when it feels like the area is weaker. I don't think you have to have a prescription to buy a belt; check with medical supply stores. What helps strengthen the area most is balanced nutrients like my diet and supplement, particularly the " good " fats which will make the cells stronger, and the meats and eggs of course. It can take the body up to 4 years to remake all of the body's cell membranes out of 50% saturated fat (lung cells must be 100% saturated fat). Of course people with candida have a double whammy because candida toxins make the cell rigid/stiff. So curing candida helps hernia too. Oil of oregano won't necessary correct the problem but it will help with pain and help the area heal if it is strained. Luv, Bee
Guest guest
It's very common for this to happen. For instance, I quit drinking beer (I was up to 6-8 beers per day) and smoking (one pack per day for 18 years) COLD TURKEY after a spiritual fast in 2001. After decades of treating my body wrong, and having the goal of getting spritually and physically healthy, I decided to DO IT! I started jogging even. I noticed within 2 days that all my joints were aching and I was overcome with fatigue. I also still felt hungover every morning. Within a month of investigating, I discovered that I had been feeding my candida with beer for many years... which I had always had, but had become much worse since a couple of rounds of strong antibiotics in 1998. When I cut off the yeast's food supply, it IMMEDIATELY introduced itself to me in a strong way! I started an anti-candida program for 5 months. I was very strict and lost down to 122 pounds from 160. But the diet didn't work, because it wasn't THIS one. As Bee often says, it gets worse before it gets better. But to really get better, you'll have to get on the program (diet and supplements) 100% and not " tweak it " to suit your cravings. Sure... gradually get on it over the period of a month. But do get on it. Doug I > would think that symptoms would get better instead of worse as there > is less in my system to feed it, so why is this happening? Guest guest
Hi Doug and everyone else reading this message Does anyone get major joint pains? I've been suffering terribly with those the past couple of months. I sure hope they go away as things improve. I seem to be having pain most of the time. Also, what about exercise? I was an avid walker and exercised lots but again my energy is gone and I simply cannot seem to be able to exercise at all ..... anyone else like that or are you able to exercise? I think it's because my food intake is low and NO carbs therefore no energy to do anything. I try to cope at work but it is difficult as well. Has anyone heard that toasting bread increases the sugar that's in the carbs? I was advised to eat the yeast free bread untoasted as that will be better .... Good luck to all and God Bless Maddy Doug <organizer777@...> wrote: It's very common for this to happen. Like Doug wrote, symptoms do intensify during the healing process, particularly those you had before starting on the diet. Getting well isn't a steady uphill climb, which you feel better and better every day. It has its ups and downs. Also your body will retrace previous symptoms, diseases, injuries, etc., going backwards in time, according to Hering's Law of Cures. To understand more about your symptoms and natural healing see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal2.php To learn about Hering's Law of Cures see: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu1_1_2.php In the meantime you can help your vaginal symptoms with these treatments: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/women6.php My vaginal yeast was the last thing to stop when I did my candida program over 20 years ago which took me 2 1/2 years, but I'd had it for over 25 years. It does take 1 month of natural healing for every year you've had something. The best in health, Bee

I've been suffering terribly with those the past couple of months. I sure hope they go away as things improve. I seem to be having pain most of the time. ==>Hi Maddy. Joint pain is caused by toxins, which are mostly from candida, which produces over 79 different kinds. So it is not a bad thing. You can help your body detoxify better by doing things recommended in this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/detox.php >Also, what about exercise? I was an avid walker and exercised lots but again my energy is gone and I simply cannot seem to be able to exercise at all ..... anyone else like that or are you able to exercise? I think it's because my food intake is low and NO carbs therefore no energy to do anything. I try to cope at work but it is difficult as well. ==>It is much more efficient to get energy from the " good " fats on my program than from carbs. 58% of protein and 10% of fats turn into glucose inside the body providing all the blood sugar requirements needed. Good fats also do not utilize so much energy, enzymes, etc. like carbs do in order to be digested and utilized. Fats like coconut oil do not even need stomach acid, digestive enzymes or bile in order for it to be absorbed and utilized in the body. They go out of the digestive system through the lymphatic system directly into the blood stream. ==>While exercise is good, it can take energy away that the body needs in order to heal, depending upon how much is done. Nutrients are much more important than exercise. The lymphatic system requires exercise in order to keep it moving, but you can do dry skin brushing instead of exercises, walking, etc. > > Has anyone heard that toasting bread increases the sugar that's in the carbs? I was advised to eat the yeast free bread untoasted as that will be better .... ==>No, I haven't heard of that, but breads are not allowed on this program anyway. God Bless you too. Guest guest
Hi Maddy I got terrible joint pain months after I started this program, in my hands and I was stiff if I sat for too long as well as when I got up in the morning. This lasted off and on about a year I think. But it eventually went away as I healed and I rarely experience it now. I go for long walks each day but when I first began this program I became weak and was quite tired. That was partly due to switching over from carbs to fats and also just being underweight. I exercised only as much as I could tolerate and built up again as I became stronger. I can now walk 3 km, garden and ride my bike a bit too on days when I am more energetic. But you must be patient and not push your body while it is healing or you will pay for it. You will heal and get back to exercising when your body is ready. Take it slow and heal first. I hope this helps. Laurie > It's very common for this to happen.
