Yes, it's also very well absorbed, perhaps even better than the other compounds. However, chelation with an amino acid, in this case glycine, can be a little more expensive than an inorganic compound. I believe glycine is also easier on the stomach, because it does not excite acidity, the way the oxide would. Chuck

Guest guest
I paid $80 to the towing guy. crisis guy went to the garage where the car is and installed a fuel pump! but couldn't start the car b/c I had the key! I got a ride to my car but it was barricaded by other cars and no one was around. I had to leave but left the key hidden in the car. I called towing guy and he tried to start the car--she's dead--she no go. WTF Gracia Well if you get a towing bill from the police, I would send it to crisis guy! It also contains microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium > stearate and stearic acid. Will that work? +++Sorry, but chelated minerals means they contain amino acids which are usually from soy. Also the body best absorbs the citrate forms of calcium and magnesium, so please buy the kinds I recommend instead Bee

Guest guest
I ran out of the vitamins that were cal/mag and I have Magnesium, but it is oxide so I have not taken that. How do I get the 1/3 dose of an adult dose? Does it come in liquid, will I need to break up caplets, or crush them? Is there not a way like with the calcium and nutritional yeast to get magnesium? le > > > > Geez...so many things to think of and so many kinds of us to take care of. How do I get the 1/3 dose of an adult dose? Does it come in liquid, will I need to break up caplets, or crush them? Is there not a way like with the calcium and nutritional yeast to get magnesium? +++Hi le. Nutritional Yeast Flakes contain B vitamins, not cal/mag. You can consume mineral-rich bone broths instead of taking cal/mag; an adult should have 2 large mugs per day, or about 2 1/2 cups, your child can have 1/3rd. Ensure you make the broth according to this recipe: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/recipes/recipe21.php You can buy powdered cal/mag (bought separately)- NOW Foods carries calcium citrate powder, and magnesium citrate powder - both are available at iHerb: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/resource/iherb.php If you use calcium citrate tablets you cut them up to get 1/3rd dose, and magnesium citrate comes in capsules, so you can dump out the powder to measure approximately 1/3rd of a dose. How many mgs are in your tablet? I can't remember such details since there are too many members to keep track of on the group. My tablets are hard too, but I am able to cut them off with a sharp knife. I hold the tablet between my forefinger and thumb on a cutting board with one hand, and cut with the knife using my other hand. Or don't buy tablets, instead use calcium citrate powder as listed here - scroll down to #8: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/resource/iherb.php Or make your own calcium citrate using eggshells: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/supp2.php All the best, Bee
Guest guest
> > How much can we adjust/increase the magnesium on this program without causing any problems? +++You can adjust magnesium by increasing it about 100-150 mg. Adjusting it more depletes calcium. Why do you want to adjust it? Bee

Guest guest
I only read this once a day in an email digest, if even that often, so I don't always respond right away. Even then, I'm on a migraine group that is also currently discussing magnesium supplements, so it can get confusing as to whom is talking about what. Anyway, I get my magnesium supplements at Walgreens. I just take whatever they're selling over there and it seems to help me be slightly clearer headed for awhile. > > Maybe I should change the subject line to " healthcare debate " so people will > hurry up and answer LOL! > CW > > -- Magnesium > > > My RLS is kicking in as it usually does when I'm pregnant so I need to get > magnesium supplements.
