Guest guest
Whatever suits the both of you best. Sometimes when you start and things get stirred up, weekly keeps child more comfortable but this is a long term treatment so you have to pace yourself. When I was working full time outside the home I could only manage 3 on 11 off. You don't have to pick one or the other and write it in stone, do what you can Mandi in UK 146 Rounds for Sam 14 In a message dated 20/02/2011 15:00:21 GMT Standard Time, sgrzybczyk@... writes: My son is 4 yo and I just started first round of chelation yesterday. I was going to do it once a week but I hear that some parents recommend that sometimes every other week works better with younger kids. I give him 5mg DMSA(he weights 36pounds)every 3 hours and he seems to be ok so far. Any word of advice regarding schedule?
Guest guest
We chelate from early Friday morning until bedtime on Sunday night. We home school, so that works best for us. some start after school on Friday and chelate until the child goes off to school on Monday morning. We like our schedule as that means only getting up every three house during the night on Friday night and Saturday night.
Guest guest
Havnen Should I decrease in last 12 hour-16hour doses and taper the mgs off so there is less distribution back into his body so he wouldnt feel sick or should I just give him what he takes every 3 hours(5 mg of DMSA) regardless ?? ________________________________ From: Haven DeLay <hdelay@...> Sent: Mon, February 21, 2011 4:23:25 AM Subject: Re: [ ] How often should I chelate my son once a week or every o... Guest guest
Silwia, I am not as knowledgeable about this as the moderators on the RFA group. But I have studied, and most do the same MGs throughout a round. We do. We are using ALA only right now as our son is a very reactive kids, so we give 12.5 mg each dose for the entire round. Yeast or something flares around days two and three off round. Stimming increases. I just up his GSE. give biotin before each meal, and give him ACE. Ask , but I doubt there is a need to taper off. it does not make sense to me and I would think, based on what I've read, that tapering off would tend to increase the problem rather than decrease it, but I could be wrong. However, I have never read anything about the need to taper off the dosage.
Guest guest
Dana is also much more knowledgeable than I and you could ask her on this list as well.

Guest guest
You would have to read up on adrenal fatigue/ exhaustion. Mercury likes to hide in adrenals, disrupting their functions, and our kids can show signs of adrenal fatigue such as being easily weepy, clingy, having asthma-like symptoms etc.... ACE is adrenal cortex extract and supports adrenal function. Hopefully either or Dan can expound on this.
