chelation for older children?

Hello group,

My son with autism is almost 12. We've done DAN protocols from the age of 4-9yrs

old with no success.  We've also tried chelation(DAN method) for a short period

of time which left my son regressed. I think we've tried every treatment out

there for autism but are not seeing any gains!  My son still can not read or

write. He doesn't use the computer.  Extremly behind in academics or no interest

in learning at all.  He basically have no interest in anything.  Language is

significantly delayed as well.  We've also tried different therapies including

ABA, extra OT etc. with little or no results.  So we're desperately seeking help

for him.

Someone recomended A.Cutler's chelation protocol.  I wanted to ask if anyone of

you with older children are seeing results???  I've heard chelation works mostly

on the younger children???  Any advice will be appreciated.
