Guest guest
Is it red/pink? Clown mouth? This can often be helped by B2, my son gets it with too higher odse of MB12 or Methylating supps, I use NOW brand and give a couple of 100mg caps for a few days and it goes away FWIW Mandi in UK In a message dated 04/03/2011 04:29:48 GMT Standard Time, tara_cruz_01@... writes: Hi. My son has developed a flat sore (no bumps or blisters) just below the lip line and also just above the lip line. The sore looks like it is chapped skin, running all around his lips. Has anyone seen anything like this. Can supplements cause this. Or may be it is detox? We are not chelating, but we are on antiviral and antiyeast with enzymes and herbs. Nothing new has been added as a supplement. Any input is truly appreciated. Tara
Guest guest
Worth trying the B2, its water soluble so if he doesn't need he'll just pee out bright green/yellow wee. My theory is its something to do with Methylation, if the cycle is working better then B2 and B6 are the first B's that get used up. B2 always works for Sam Mx In a message dated 04/03/2011 11:48:52 GMT Standard Time, marinavrahimi@... writes: Jack has exactly this at the moment too! I put it down to upping LiverLife from 4 drops to 6, 4 drops caused red sore patch by side of mouth for a long time, now upped and have full chapped lips??? Guest guest
Can I get the B2 from you? Guest guest
My son gets these too. Sometimes right inside his nose, on the edge of his nostril, or where Crawford's mole is. I'm wondering if it is caused by phenols, or if it is oxalate dumping. I'll try the B2/B6 angle. I have some B6 on my counter I've been meaning to start. Keep us posted on what works! > > Hi. Guest guest
Just had to pop in without anything helpful to say, but I had to laugh at the Crawford's mole reference! Of course I had to Google her to see where that mole was... Redness and chapped lips are huge issues for some kids in the winter. My son used to lick his lips because they were dry in the winter and that constant irritation made them quite red and sore (top and bottom). Some describe a 'clown mouth'. Funny, it hasn't happened this winter to him. Pam > > > > Hi. My son has developed a flat sore (no bumps or blisters) just below the lip line and also just above the lip line. Guest guest
" Clown lips " was 2 things for us #1 yeast #2 soy sensitivity It may be another food for your child. The thing was, I kept putting lip balms on it - of course they have soybean oil in them, or vit E (which is soy derived) and/or artificial colors, flavors, scents, plus usually a host of chemicals. The natural ones have vit E. Once we pulled soy out of his diet and ALL personal care products such as shampoo, body soap, hand soap, etc. and stopped with the lip balms (and instead used COCONUT OIL) it diminished significantly. When we treated for yeast it completely healed and has never returned. > > Is it red/pink? Clown mouth? Guest guest
Recently read posts from people who believed this may be due to excess acidity in the saliva. They were looking at it in relation to teeth health and mineralization. > > > > Is it red/pink? Clown mouth?
