Guest guest
First, are you sure it is even a mercury thermometer? > > My 13 yo dd broke a thermometer in the bathroom a few days ago and I did not learn about it at the time. Now I find out not only did she " clean it up " by herself, but she put it in the wicker wastebasket that at the time had no liner in it and there it stayed until I found out about it last night. I've now thrown out the entire wastebasket enclosed and tied off in a garbage back and out of the house. > How harmful is this? We're at about round 60, and although she's still at a very low dose of ala, has made amazing improvement since we began. > We rarely skip a round, but did this week because she'd had a nasty sore throat (before the thermometer breaking). > Nothing to do but continue rounds? Just want to know how big a set-back this could be. I know all the venting procedures that were taken when my amalgams were removed & here we were with spilled, loose mercury in the house for about 3 days! > Teres >
Guest guest
Yes, it was glass and had the grey liquid in it. It was probably a very old one. > > > > My 13 yo dd broke a thermometer in the bathroom a few days ago and I did not learn about it at the time. Guest guest
IMO you keep chelating. This also happened to me when my boy was a baby. I dropped it, it broke, I used a paper towel to clean it up. His bassinet was right by that space on the kitchen linoleum for about a year afterwards until we moved. I suppose it was a big contributor to his getting autism. Deb > > > > > > My 13 yo dd broke a thermometer in the bathroom a few days ago and I did not learn about it at the time.
