Guest guest
What do they want you to use? If you are using AC chelation, you need to use ALA, and/or DMSA/DMPS plus the supplements that are needed for chelation. Guest guest
I believe it's Metalloclear. Our DAN is supposed to get back to me on how it works w/more detail. I asked if the product actually doesn't extract other minerals leaving the 'good' stuff behind, or does the product supplement the 'good' stuff with added ingredients. She didn't have an answer, so she's going to contact her Metagenics rep. She said it was gentler to use. I'm still planning on using AC chelation on myself, but see if the Metagenics product would be good for our child to use. > > What do they want you to use? Guest guest
Heres the ingredients: Three tablets supply: Zinc (as zinc citrate)5 mg Andrographis (Andrographis paniculata) Aerial Part Extract 150 mg Turmeric (Curcuma longa) Rhizome Extract 158 mg [standardized to 95% (150 mg) curcuminoids] Proprietary Blend of Hops (Humulus lupulus) and Luduxin †2,645 mg Other Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, Cellulose, Stearic acid, Croscarmellose sodium, Silica, Magnesium stearate, Coating (deionized water, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol(PEG ), and carrageenan) I wouldnt take it because of the PEG, and I dont see anything here that really chelates (tho there is a study about iron chelation and curcumin). I see some anti-inflammatory and immune boosting stuff. Karla > > > > What do they want you to use? >
Guest guest
Unfortunately it doesn't appear to actual contain any chelating agent. Stick with AC protocol. Sounds like this DAN will waste your money or your insurance company's money. Guest guest
It's not wonder the ARI website is taking down the DAN practitioner's list! Guest guest
I didn't realize they were taking the entire list of practitioners down! They did inform us that all of the chiropractors were being removed, but that was it. Guest guest
Thank you to all of those who responded. I'm almost finished with reading Amalgam Illness, some parts I'll have to read again, but I get the gist of the most important parts of the chelating protocol and highlighted a lot of it. We definitely won't be doing a urine challenge test; just hair. We'll be looking for a new DAN though, or maybe none at all -- the DAN was for my husband's piece of mind. I didn't get that our DAN was that experienced with chelating when she mentioned that she has patients chelating on the Metagenics. She only recommended it when I talked about using Andy's protocol on myself -- I don't believe she was familiar with Andy's protocol at all since she had no comments to share, just the Metagenics.
