Guest guest
Hi All, Just to chime in, I'm not under Drs care and I deduct all therapies that I pay for, all medical visits that I pay for, medical equipment I pay for and I put the supps under Other. I keep all of the receipts and I have a log book. I was audited in 2009, the IRS went over all my entries on 2 occasions and only found problems with a 1099 (which triggered the audit). I remember the IRS official commenting about my medical expenses and wanted to know why I didn't have healthcare. I explained that I was self-employed, in GA and my child has Autism. Her response was, " OK.
