Any ideas anyone? Actually both Eye Q and Calcium have a similar effect on eg send her a bit hyper.... In a realted way CBS kids can have problems with fats and I wonderedif thats why doesnt tolerate the Eye Q too well... After listening to the talk at Newcastle yesterday however,I wonde if my ratios of Omega 6's to 3'smight be more the problem... One way to overcome this is topre-supplement with Evening Primrose Oil for 6 weeks before begining the Eye Q... As many others have said dont begin supplements more than 2 in one week at the most because if you have aproblem you wont know what it is. One other thought about calcium Citrate... Citrates good for oxalate problems if taht is why you have chosen citrate formof calcium.. It will also cause constipation so good if your child is prone to dairrhoea but not good alone if your child prone to constipation. Guest guest
I am reading! I always am! Sara, I have been reading your posts and would like to comment. TTFD is the B1 form which Andy has a "bee in his bonnet" about. He seems to think a component is deleterious to one's health ( think it was the disulphide bit.) Try rather Benfotiamin, an oil soluble form which has plenty of very positive study results as per www.pubmed.com. B1 is a really interesting vitamin in that it is critical to neurological function ( part of the molecule forms the basis of acetylcholine and also dopamine!!) and also inmportant in burning carbohydrates but unfortunately is cleaved (cut apart) by sulphites. A surplus of sulphites is a problem in individuals who cannot convert sulphites to sulphate due in all probability to a deficiency in Molybdenum. Your child seems to be showing a deficiency in sulphate via red ears..Best to supplemment with Magnesium sulphate ( Epsom Salts) and also make sure he has at least a multi-mineral which includes around 200 micrograms of molybdenum. Give around 100 mg of Benfotiamin to compensate for what the sulphites are destroying. I got my benfotiamin from the Dr. Fuller website. Hope this helps I absolutely have to get back to my work. :-)) RE: hyperactivity Thanks so much – it’s much less horrible having people to discuss this with. Guest guest
Hello, Anyone has any ideas what to do about hyperactivity? My daughter 7 years old, is very hyperactive at the moment, likes to throw herself onto furniture, floor etc. Otherwise there is much improvement lately in her mood, eye contact and cognitive skills. She is on strict GFCF and all biological/organic diet, so it is not the result of food additives, colorings, gluten etc. We are detoxing, using liver life (not full dose yet), and enzymes and oregano oil to keep the yeast down. Thanks, Renate
Guest guest
Renate, I find that certain fruits and vegetables can make my 19 month old hyper. You might want to do an elimination or rotation test with fruits and veggies to see what happens there. Also I find zinc sulfate and mag sulfate help with her food reactions and hyperactive tendencies. Both are creams and I apply them to her feet once per day. oh also if she's sensitive to phenols found in many fruits and veggies there is an enzyme to help digest them. we take liver life too love that stuff! if your detoxing her could be just a detox reaction that could subside or maybe back off the amount. good luck...and congrats on your progress > > Hello, > > Anyone has any ideas what to do about hyperactivity? > My daughter 7 years old, is very hyperactive at the moment, likes to throw > herself onto furniture, floor etc. Otherwise there is much improvement lately in > her mood, eye contact and cognitive skills. Guest guest
Epsom salts baths have always helped with hyperactivity at our house. We also gave our son calcium/magnesium supplements. Guest guest
Hi , we are using a product called Yeast Cleanse by Solaray. This product seems to have really calmed our son down.. Please try it . Try increasing the yeast protocol, see if that helps. Dana
