Guest guest
Hello Parents, fyi: I have 2 kids. The older son 18 yrs old on the spectrum and the younger one (girl) 16 years old. Because the older one has autism, we waived our daughter's immunizations. We were scared that she would be predisposed to the diagnosis. Now, my daughter is 16 years old and I recieved two letters. One from the School District needing a proof of Tdap booster shot before school starting in Fall. It is required or else she will NOT be able to start school by law. The other letter came from the Dr's office recommending the Tdap booster. My question is: Is it SAFE to get the shot now for my daughter at the age of 16?? Any comments? Should I avoid them totally, should I space them apart?? Pl. advise. I am so worried. At the age of 16, could she get damaged because her brother has autism? Need advice from all the wonderful experts here. Thanks, Mom
Guest guest
Is it ever safe to inject toxic metals like aluminum and mercury in addition to tissue culture antigens and numerous other chemicals? I would recommend against. On Thu, Mar 24, 2011 at 2:40 PM, Asha Rai <asharai27@...> wrote: > > > Hello Parents, > > fyi: I have 2 kids. Guest guest
What state are you in? In Texas, you have the right to fill out a conscientious objection to vaccination form, and present it, and then they CANNOT deny admission to school. You fill it out, get it notarized and present it. I was 27 years old when a vaccine nearly killed me. They told me it was a " fluke, " so I learned too late and vaccinated my son, and he has autism. We have not vaccinated him in over nine years, and he went to public school. They do a good job of withholding exemption information from parents because they get money from the state for every child they can prove has been fully vaccinated. Most states have some form of religious, medical, or conscientious waivers to vaccines. Many states, including Texas, also accept titers in lieu of vaccination. You get your child tested to see if they hold titers to that particular virus, and show a copy to the school. If your child has the titers, they don't need the vaccine. Some are naturally immune, but I don't think tetanus is one you can become naturally immune to. However, if one practices good wound hygiene, tetanus is hard to get. Just for the record, I am pretty sure it was the DTaP that was the worst for my son. I met many other parents along the way whose children were given the same lot number as my son, and their children, too, regressed. There are many who believe that mass vaccination is also being used to control population growth, and that any vaccination may impede a person's ability to reproduce in the future. We really do not know the long-term consequences of vaccination in many cases. Some have even reported cancers at injection sites many years in the future. Guest guest
www.vaclib.org and click " exemptions " and then your state. This will tell you the laws in your state and what they allow. Almost all states allow for religious exemption. File one with the district superintendent (or appropriate department in your district) as soon as possible to get it approved before fall. Do not sign any " refusal to vaccinate " forms provided by a doctor. I would not give this vaccine, even in a non ASD 16 year old. That's just me. Don't like mercury, aluminum, foreign animal proteins/viruses... and you don't legally have to give it. > > Hello Parents, > > fyi: I have 2 kids. Guest guest
Just so I know; how come? Would I be signing more than I'm willing to release or waive, or in this case, refuse? Are doctors using the form for something more than just their files? I haven't seen a refusal form yet, and it would be great to know. Thank you, Sheila > Do not sign any " refusal to vaccinate " forms provided by a doctor.
Guest guest
Hello Parents, Thank you ALL for your feedback regarding Tdap booster shots missing for my 16 yr old. I have read every email in detail and have recv'd ALL consistent replies regarding getting her Titers checked. I am waiting for the blood test results. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!! Will keep everyone updated. Also, do the special needs kids need Chicken Pox? Are those necessary? Love you all!!!
Guest guest
The varicella vaccine does not work. It is also a live virus vaccine. I would not get one of these, they are not required anyway. www.vaclib.org again... have you given thought to what happens if she does not have titers high enough to satisfy them? Many parents get themselves into quite a legal issue trying to use titers to avoid a vaccine and then when the titers are too low and the schools demand you get the vaccine, the parents then want a religious exemption. But they can't get one because by agreeing to get titers to prove something, you are also acknowledging that you believe vaccines work. Which makes it hard to get a religious exemption after that. And what happens the next time they want titers for the next vaccine. Chances are the child won't have titers to every vaccine in levels to satisfy them. What about vaccines she's not had yet, how will you prove titers to those to get out of it? If you have issues with vaccines a religious exemption absolves your children from all future vaccines. And generally most people don't believe in attempted murder via toxic injection. Special needs kids are special needs kids because they got vaccines. They are the most high risk of children who should never have any more vaccines. Course do as you wish, I'm only providing information. > > Hello Parents, > > Thank you ALL for your feedback regarding Tdap booster shots missing for my 16 > yr old. > > I have read every email in detail and have recv'd ALL consistent replies > regarding getting her Titers checked. > I am waiting for the blood test results. Guest guest
If you carefully read that form it is implicating you in the refusal of medical treatment for your child. you are admitting medical neglect by signing it. If a doctor offers it to you, tell them you will take it your lawyer before you sign it, take it and don't bring it back. This form is not the same as having a religious objection to vaccination. I was legally advised years ago by our informed choice coalition lawyer never to sign those forms, as they are being used by some health departments to try to make you vaccinate. It's how they word it. Much safer to have your own exemption already drawn up and furnish this to the doctor for your file. It is also a legal document that helps the doctor be able to justify why patient X is not vaccinated. The health departments keep track of who is getting shots and who is not in most states and if a doctor has too few patients receiving vaccines, the DoH starts asking questions. This is why doctors want you to sign a " refusal to vaccinate " form. So they can at least say " see I tried but they won't comply " You don't want to be seen as a " won't comply " but as a person who is informed of their legal right to religious objection. Hope that helps. Jan > > > Do not sign any " refusal to vaccinate " forms provided by a doctor. >
Guest guest
Sheila, Thanks to the Supreme Court decision, it doesn't really matter. When the parents allows a vaccination, if anything goes wrong -- weather it is damage or death, the SC has determined that the parent(s) cannot sue the doctor nor the vaccine manufacturer. If anything goes wrong, it is all on your shoulders. See if THEY will sign a contract stating that if ANY damage is done following the vaccine, they agree to take full financial responsibility for all the medical, therapeutic, dietary, and educational expenses you will incur as a result of that damage. See if THEY are willing to take responsibility. I bet they're not. I thought it was just about half a million it cost us to get our son back, but when I sat down and figured in my lost wages -- not being able to return to work full-time since the reaction happened, it could easily be a million. We worked hard all our lives, and four shots later vaccine reaction sucked all our hopes and dreams away. We won't even ever be able to retire now. Ask yourself if it is worth the risk. I'd give anything if someone had told me about the risks before I let them jab my son. Getting him back has been like climbing a steep cliff with blistered hands.
