Guest guest
a lot of washing powders- tide is known as a culprit for this - really make me itch- and i know a few other people who suffer from this too- you could try switching your laundry powder to something like ecover- which hasnt got so many strong chemicals in it- and see if that helps perhaps? > > I am getting very bad itching. Guest guest
Hello, I have had an incredibly itchy scalp, but for the last couple of weeks I have been using a shampoo and a conditioner that is 2% tea tree oil and that seems to help...so maybe tea tree aromatherapy oil in the bath? Good luck with it anyway. Jane --- aka_290 <aka_290@...> wrote: --------------------------------- > > I am getting very bad itching. Guest guest
wrote: > > Still itching,am doing the skin brushing, lemon juice, so is the liver > screaming that it is not happy? ==>The liver and the immune system are doing it's job, evidenced by the itching. It doesn't mean it's not happy, unless you are consuming too many toxins, sugars and high carbs. If you are following the diet faithfully in addition to above, it will take time for the itching to subside but at the moment your body needs it to heal. The body takes it own time for these things. Also take more epsom salt baths to help your body detox, which will draw out the toxins. Bee
Guest guest
> > Itching is NOT shingles. > Hi , It's good you got an opinon from someone you trust. Personally, I did not think it was shingles anyway since shingles usually presents itself around a person's waistline. " Allergic " like reactions often come on as you are following the diet and utilizing natural healing methods. Continue to follow the diet, DO NOT eat fruit (not even in a marinade or salad dressing), stay away from carbs, grains and any starches. You've begun a " Process " of healing...you didn't get sick overnight and healing won't happen overnight....it IS a process. Stick with the diet Bee recommends and you can get better. jackie

I got it really bad when I had my 2nd bout with candida (after being free of it for 18 years). You want to itch it so much it makes the skin break open and bleed. Get Kyolic Garlic and dump the capsules into some coconut oil, mix and apply. You can also apply the oil from vitamin E and cod liver oil. Alternate treatments as well as soaking in epsom salts. You can also soothe it by patting on some baking soda every now and then, in between other things. ==>Ensure you are eating enough proteins and good fats - see the Candida Diet Folder on how to calculate your ratios of fats to proteins to carbs, and also for lists of foods on one page to help you know what is on the diet. Also take liquid chlorophyll. Luv, Bee

The pediatrician that was treating her had her on Elavil, which she was taking for sleep and moods. I had a hunch it was from the Elavil and once I got her off it, the itching stopped. Are you on any antidepressants? I also had itching from Zoloft and Paxil, also antidepressants, years ago, as well as anti-inflammatory drugs and pain killers. That's why I don't do any pharmaceutical medications anymore-only my food based Chinese herbs, which have kept me Lyme free for 10 years. If your itching isn't caused by medications, perhaps your skin is very dry, especially in this cold weather (depending on where you live, of course) and maybe some good lotion might help. Guest guest
Have you tried Epsom salt bath (I soaked til the water cooled) followed with coconut oil (food grade) and then after it is absorbed put on aloe vera (the kind that doesn't have colorings/fragrance that they use for sunburn. This is what has helped me. I even took one Benadryl one day and am assuming it helped some, but I still itched. I have no rash and my skin feels smooth and supple, so don't feel that it's the winter weather. I think it's die off as I didn't have it til I was on the Ceftin and it's continuing to a smaller degree with the oral Zithromax. I keep thinking I may itch, but the little buggers are dying!! Guest guest
Yikes, I itch like crazy sometimes. The nearest thing I can come up with is neurotoxicity from the herxheimer or active infection because it comes and goes. I don't have classic hives anymore, but do have multiple seborretic keritosis' on my face which is really griping me. I have been tested for numerous allergies and all is negative. I have done lots of detox things so doubt it's candida. cooky > > > Hmmmmmmm Just did a few weeks of Flagyl for another problem, havent > > noticed any thrush which is usually first for me and here i just > > said no meds LOL forgot about that flagyl LOL wow what a lyme brain > > *-) > > > Ah, yes. Guest guest
Dear Kim, About " I understand the bowels produce histine which when there is too much it can cause all kinds of problems, including skin allergies. Anyone else agree? " ==>Is it skin allergies or skin healing reactions? When the body heals naturally it externalizes healing to the skin to protect vital inner organs. If it causes allergies, what is the skin allergic to? The histine? So that means the skin is allergic to the body's own substances? ==>The immune system puts out histine and histamines as part of the detoxing and healing process and this creates itching skin, but it is not skin allergy. Guest guest
> > I found out that i am allergic to " coconut oil " . Itching stopped as > soon as I stopped eating it. yaaay! ==>, the itching was evidence your body was detoxing and healing. As I've stated previously about allergies, healing symptoms and reactions are often mistakened as allergic reactions, when they aren't. Good foods like coconut oil will create healing responses in the body because you are giving the body what it needs to heal, detox, etc. Please read the Allergies File to understand it more thoroughly. Therefore, you are not allergic to coconut oil! In fact that is probably what your body needs most in order to heal naturally! Bee
Guest guest
oh ....don't stop the coconut oil!!! You're NOT allergic to it...Coconut Oil is a strong anti-fungal and it is killling the candida...that's what's making you itch. As Bee has written so often, allergies are much misunderstood and the body externalizes healing to the skin...you ARE healing when you take coconut oil. Please, I urge you to introduce coconut oil back into your diet...do it slowly and bear with the itching. It will go away. jackie > > I found out that i am allergic to " coconut oil " . Guest guest
Dear , To minimize your itching, don't stop the coconut oil, just cut back on the amount you are taking, and gradually increase it over time. Bee
Guest guest
Cyntha....has anyone suggested to you that excessive itching can also be caused by a toxic liver......Try an organic coffee enema and cold-pressed castor oil...then talk to a healthcare practioner about a liver flush. Lymie/Moldie livers tend to pack up with toxins and critters, dead or alive..... Also try cleaning out with HOMOZON.... Guest guest
Cyntha, you poor thing! Of course you're about to go out of your mind! Two things came to mind as I read your post: 1) Have you tried an antifungal like Diflucan in a fairly large dose? and 2) Have you considered a drug or food allergy? Oh, one other thing: If your doctors are telling you they can't help you, you need to see some other doctors. I'm serious. No doctor should ever say they can't help you and just send you on your way. At the very least, they can refer you to someone else. Jessie > > Okay I know there has been recent talk on this subject but I haven't been > on line forever and many of my e-mail have gotten erased. Guest guest
Cyntha, I used to have this problem a few months ago. I itched so bad I couldn't sleep. I had all the allergy tests and found no allergens. No medicine would help me but the antibiotics or benadryl. I now only wake up about 2 times per night instead of all night long. Many times I took benadryl to knock myself out so that I could sleep and not itch. It could be that you have developed a peripheral neuropathy as a result of the lyme. Ask your LLMD about it. If he can't help you, move onto some else who can help. There might be a mineral deficiency too. Wishing you the best, cooky > > Okay I know there has been recent talk on this subject but I haven't been > on line forever and many of my e-mail have gotten erased. Guest guest
I am allergic to many pollens, Rag weed, cat dander (given up on having animals) and doctor says about every plant here (I rarely go out for this reason anymore and no longer have indoor plants). I have been taking benadryl by the load. I have had many allergy shots too. I am on antibiotics now and man it still isn't helping...I'm on amoxocillan and (Biaxin off and on). I am also taking some steroids to try and help (I know bad for the Lyme but honestly it has helped some of the itching in the past but isn't working so far). I however have not tried Diflucan (might ask the doc about this).. Could this be neurological...where it seems to be in the nerves. I seem to have tried every cream out there...My doctor has tried many things and is almost at a loss. I have noticed many times when I itch my skin becomes very hot and flushed and sometimes even before the scratching (but I am also having trouble being cold all the time..my feet and hands..does this make sense to anyone..lol)...has anyone ever had this happen? My face is now all red. One reason why I consider it still could be my allergies. I have noticed also at times it seems like someone is grabbing my lungs from both sides and squeezing them together. I was worried about severe allergies for this reason. Even though it feels this way I still breath just fine..just feels uncomfortable. I guess maybe I should get a second opinion. I will mention the Diflucan to the doctor. I am reasonably sure that it is the Lyme Disease. My knees both are flaring up too...my left leg is always swollen. Thanks, Cyntha
