Guest guest
Hi everyone, When I talked to my dr. about the itching, I was told that it has something to do with the lower platelet counts. Lotion does seem to help. Guest guest
Hello an, I too itch so bad day and night. My skin is so dry,I can't sleep sometimes because of the itching. Sometimes I just lay in bed and claw myself. I'm itching now.I don't know excatly what causes it ,but from what I have read over the internet, it might be the build up of toxins in our bodies.,that our livers are not clearing.I itch from head to toe. But also I have chronic kidney failure, and I am a diabetic,so I have a triple whammy{Smile}. I don't have a liver Dr. I have never talk to anyone medically about my virus. I get my info off of the internet. So you know what I do, because I am Pentecost Holiness, I anoint myself with olive oil that has been blessed, and prayed over by my brothers, and sisters in my Church, and I pray, and My Lord and Savior puts me to sleep.Sometimes I use Lotion, anything that helps. Praying and the Oil helps me. But you do what is best for you. God Bless You, I will be praying for you. Mrs Betty stblmchl <stblmchl@...> wrote: > > I am so frustrated! Guest guest
am, Try using laundry detergent that is perfume and dye/ink free (Tide has perfume free), also use dryer sheets that have no perfumes (Bounce has them). You will notice the difference with the bed linen. The same for the shower gels (Aveeno oatmeal has no chemicals) and after shower use anti-itch cream (Benedryl, I used Wal Mart brand). That should help; it helped me when I was on treatment. Jean am Iman <anettexandria@...> wrote: I am so frustrated! I am itching, but not jaundiced...does anyone know what can be causing this? Guest guest
Hi Glenn, I am not undergoing any treatment as of yet. i have no idea what my viral load is and I am trying to obtain medical services thru the county healthcare system here in Houston. I am taking Liv.52 a natural supplement that my grandmother orders and sends to me. I must say that my diet has contained a lot of meat lately and i know that i'm not supposed to get my protein from mostly animal sources....but my mom will be back next weekend and she makes me follow a healthier diet. I do have an appoint with a general practitioner August 1st. I just hope i'm not insane from all of this itching by then. Glenn <miamiman33133@...> wrote: am, My name is Glenn and I was on the treatment last year for 36 grueling weeks. I believe I encountered most of the symptoms. I went back to an e-mail I posted here. Here is what I wrote then about my itching: Glenn <miamiman33133@...> wrote: I'm on Peg-Intron & 1000 mg of Riba a day. I never spend more than 15 minute outside. The sun for me is so brutal right now. Here are a few things I did that helped; using Aveeno oatmeal bar soap to bathe with (no fragrance), Shampoo, again the Aveeno baby shampoo. Soap to wash your clothes, I change to hypoallergenic soap. Your skin is very sensitive to alcohols and fragrances. I also stop using colon or perfumes. Deodorant....if you look on the ingredient and it says aluminum's, alcohol or fragrances and it may be effecting you. I went to GNC and picked up there deodorant crystal. > > I developed a terrible itch that I endured for 5 weeks. For those 5 weeks I was consuming more than the recommended amount of Benadryl. If your itching last more than a few days do as I did and insist that your hep doctor refer you to a dermatologist immediately. > > What geno-type are you and how long have you been on the tx? > > Glenn L. That's what I wrote last year in October. The Zyrtec are pills and the Doxepin is a cream. I was itching everywhere. So I spread that cream on sq.inch of my body. The itching was really weird. My Eye lids, nostrils and my ear cavity. The cream worked IMMEDIATELY. Over all, it provided 95%relieve. Very little itching after that. I was geno type 3a with viral load of 2.5 million. Well I was on the tx last yr as I said, well here it is 7 months after my tx is over and my viral level in UNDETECTABLE. My Dr. considers me cured. Tell us about your treatment. please go into some detail. We all benefit from each others situation. You are in my prayers. I will light a dozen candle for everyone and ask that the monsieur to offer the mass to my hep brothers and sisters with there tx as he help me.
