Guest guest
I have always read and heard that since liver is a detoxifying organ, it may be full of toxins. Plus, I cannot stand the smell or taste, so that's my excuse as to why we wouldn't use it here. Yuck!
Guest guest
I use grass fed beef liver. Im not fond of liver by itself, but it is nutritious, so I puree it and freeze it in ice cube trays. I'll add a cube or two in my hamburgers, meat loaf, sloppy joes, or spaghetti periodically. None of the taste, all of the benefits! Guest guest
Forgot to add that I use calfs liver, not the adult cow. With organic grass fed calfs liver, youre not dealing with the hormones, antibiotics and many of the toxins that youd find in grain fed or older cattle.
