We are considering Focalin for our son (mild end of the spectrum and also meets

criteria for ADHD-inattentive type). Although I never thought I would accept

the idea of medicating, it has become pretty clear that he needs some extra

support while we (hopefully) chelate him to recovery.

Focus and anxiety are his big stumbling blocks to learning. He is in 4th grade

and struggling to stay up to grade level despite being more than bright enough.

I am hoping this is our temporary answer.
