Thank you so very much, to all who responded to my plea regarding KT and

liver toxicity. I don't have time right now to thank each of you

individually,

but know that you have helped me tremendously.

It's just plain scary " out there " , reading these links, and yes, there are

many governmental sites that recommend avoiding kombucha. I have decided to

take your suggestions and perhaps slow down a bit on the amount I am drinking,

just to make sure if there *is* some sluggishness in my OLD liver, LOL, that

it gets detoxified at a reasonable pace.

I certainly haven't felt any side effects... the normal ones people talk

about during this process. Long Live the KT!

ah..... Wednesday... mid week and only three more work days until a peaceful

weekend.

One of the things I did to reduce liver stress was removed toxic household

cleaners, particle board furniture, and other toxic exposures from my home. (I

also took milk thistle, but you are already doing that.)

I can't answer your chelation specific questions. I've only done cilantro

chelation, and that wasn't even intentional. (Long story.)

Wishing you good answers.

added all the supplements necessary per andy's list. We happen to do a RBC test

a few days after this and her ALT is very high at 120. I had been giving her

milk thistle as her AST has been slightly elevated for 3 months so wanted to be

be careful. The only other med we are giving her is the anti-viral Famvir. We

stopped Nizarol 3 months ago. I did a bit of google research and if I read it

correctly it said ALT enzymes are not necessary from the liver but could be from

muscle (stomach/heart/other muscles). Ironically my daughter got sick a few days

after chelation...rolling fevers which was going around her classroom so don't

think that was chelation specific.
