nofenol and trienza dosage question

Dear all:

DS has been on nofenol for a coupla months, maybe 3 mos. We are now at pooping

ev day, but took a long time. Now we've got too much pooping--he's having a

slight diarrhea/4 or 5 times a day pooping situation. Not really diarrhea. Just

4 or 5 times a day and smelling pretty foul. We tried trienza first, but it wd

make constipation worse. So i dropped it totally after a coupla weeks of trying

tiny doses, even with increasing nofenol doses.

I'm wondering what's happening here--is it time to add trienza? Does the nofenol

need to be decreased over time? We've had weird symptoms--rash on back (been

reading the measles discussion and wondering) without any other symptoms, then

rash went away, but frequent BMs arrived.

Is there something else going on? I haven't changed anything else. He takes

nofenol, GSE, his custom vitamins for trisomy 21 (as he's done since 9mos). He's

been looking pretty funky for a few days.

What's my next step?
