It's not the dose, it's the amount left in the body and brain that you want to

worry about. If it takes longer, but you get it out, so be it!

What if, after 6 yrs, you're still not at the full dose? My one dd and I are

able to increase our dose of ala periodically (and are now, just recently, not

including the dmsa), but my other dd (13, born at 26 wks, vaccinated in Russia,

then re-vaccinated all in one day at about 9 mos here - both girls were), who

has shown by far the most improvement after about 58 rounds, is still on only

about 4.5 mg per dose. I even have to use the liquid ala still, as she is unable

to tolerate the capsule ala no matter how small I get it. She had major

improvements this year, yet we are just now seemingly coming out of a couple of

months of regression. I feel like she'll get 18 and ready to leave home and we

won't get to the final, maximum dose. Has anyone else had this happen? The

maximum dose is .5mg per pound of kid, right? She is small, at about 90 lbs and

about 5 ft. Can you be done chelating if you never reach that after 6 yrs?
