Guest guest
> Is the Vit A being used for this protocol the beta-carotene derived or the fish-oil derived vit A? Neither. Most people use mycellized for the high dose protocol. Carotene won't work because it is not vitamin A, it must be converted by the body. Fish oil is generally not recommended because it also contains vitamin D, and you don't want to take that much vitamin D along with the A. > Will the body billed up toxicity from doses of both? Carotene, not usually, but it does happen occasionally. Usually you will get carotene toxicity instead of vitamin A toxicity. But I have read three emails about kids whose bodies over-converted the carotene and developed A toxicity. Fish oil, yes you can get toxicity from the A, and also from the D.
