Guest guest
Get him tested. Ive never met anyone one with it, but it sounds treatable and leaving it untreated can be dangerous. Guest guest
My son was born with MSUD and underwent a liver transplant at the age of 2. He had the most severe form of it. He was comatose at one week of age from leucine intoxication. The odor is very distinctive, like burnt caramel. Just my suggestion but the folks who know MOST about MSUD is the Clinic for Special Children in Lancaster, PA. I'm sure they could help you. If you have any more questions send me an email.
