Guest guest
Can anyone advise on how to effectively supplement calcium for my four year old son who is dairy free and lead and mercury toxic. Is it important for him to have Lysine with it? Most calcium supps. also have high levels of Magnesium in them, and I've heard that calcium should be given separately from Magnesium. We already supp Mg 4X/day. Can anyone recommend a good brand for calcim? We are on round 7 of chelation with DMSA and ALA. Thank you, Rose
Guest guest
You can find calcium supplements, without magnesium, i bought them all the time separately. I believe calcium is important. Sone of our kid's can't tolerate calcium due to faulty calcium channelopathy related to mercury toxicity. You do not have to separate any minerals, our bodies are used to getting all the minerals at the same time and figuring out where they go. I believe calcium is especially important for lead toxic kids. Refer to supplement file for dosage. > > Can anyone advise on how to effectively supplement calcium for my four year old son who is dairy free and lead and mercury toxic. Guest guest
Be careful not to use calcium from oyster shells, as it can be contaminated with lead. Some general info about calcium: http://www.umm.edu/altmed/articles/calcium-000290.htm -Ann > > > > Can anyone advise on how to effectively supplement calcium for my four year old son who is dairy free and lead and mercury toxic.
