Guest guest
Hi everyone I have been giving my 4 year old son young coconut kefir (made using BED kefir starter grains) for 10 days now. He has so far had a runny nose, cough, rash on his cheeks and hands, 4 days of constipation followed by 5 days (going on 6 now) of foul-smelling diarrhea. I just read somewhere that some kefirs contain a strep strain. Can anyone confirm that, and can anyone advise whether they think these symptoms are candida die-off or whether he could be having a viral reaction to the strep strain in the kefir? I don't know for sure but I think he might have a strep issue. If it is a reaction to the strep, is that a bad thing or a good thing? Thank you for any advice or information you can give!
