HELLO!!!

Just got my daughter's hair test back from Doctors Data. I want to make sure I'm

reading this correctly. Any and all comments will be greatly appreciated!!!

A few questions:

1. If I am not mistaken, my daughter doesn't seem to have impaired mineral

transport. This is a sign that she is not high in mercury? However, her levels

of antimony, arsenic, mercury and titanium are in the yellows. Should I chelate?

If so, with ALA, DMSA, or DMPS?

2. If she doesn't need to chelate, should I be giving her additional

supplements? If so, what supplements are good to take? She is 40 lbs. She is

already taking Green Pastures Cod Liver oil w/ Ghee, Flaxseed Oil, Zinc 25mg,

Nuthera Mutiple Vitamin (2 caps), three types of probiotics (we rotate them),

Vit C. Liver Life (we just started this 2 days ago).

> 1. If I am not mistaken, my daughter doesn't seem to have impaired mineral

transport. This is a sign that she is not high in mercury?

No. It is possible to have a hair test that does not meet the counting rules

(does not show impaired mineral transport) from a person who is mercury toxic.

> However, her levels of antimony, arsenic, mercury and titanium are in the

yellows. Should I chelate?

Yes. As long as she has no amalgam fillings and no recent exposures it is ok to

do trials of chelation using Andy Cutler's protocol at doses appropriate for her

weight.

>If so, with ALA, DMSA, or DMPS?

>

ALA is the only chelator that is essential. Often one of DMSA or DMPS is used

as an accessory chelator to help control side effects and increase excretion.

DMSA is still available OTC from some sources. DMPS must be obtained by

prescription and is expensive.

Add magnesium and vit e. See Andy Cutler's posts for dosage for a child.
