Just to add from my experience it is ok to chelate if the kid has slight

symptoms. But if you think he is much agitated then you may stop. I have

experienced it is better to chelate at low dose then not chelating at all.

Subject: [ ] Allergy relief?

The first time in his life, my 10 years old son with autism just developed

allergy like symptoms the last couple of days: running nose, scratchy throat,

cough, hoarse voice, bags under the eyes, etc. He looks miserable but luckily

is still in good spirit :) Is there any natural remedy people can recommend?

BTW, we are supposed to start another round this weekend. Is it ok to chelate

when he's not feeling the best?

TIA!

For allergies, I used OLE.

But those symptoms would have meant yeast here for one of my kids. Try

increasing the yeast protocol.

We use Vit C, Quercetin and Ginkgo biloba here. Quercetin works the best for

us.

We suffer eczema (haven't had any bouts in ages), swelling, post nasal drip and

sinus symptoms, etc., from dust mite, pet dander, certain pollens and grass

allergies.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my email. It looks like I should restart

GSE and biotin and keep our original plan for chelation this weekend.

Hopefully, the symptoms will eventually subside....

If this is the first time ever for allergies I wouldn't rule out a cold. Could

try an ALA only round.

If it is allergies you could investigate adrenal fatigue. Merc affects the

adrenals and chelation increases stress on them. A significant portion of our

children need a little adrenal support (adrenal cortex) during chelation.

Thanks Tressie. What's your remedy for cold if so? He's been coughing worse

and worse :(
