Guest guest
Arginine, lysine and ornithine are the precursors to growth hormone. My son grew several inches in just a few months after a year of no growth, thanks to the mom that recommended this. Caryn > > > > > > > > > I have 9 yo daughter . Guest guest
I asked this same question to Judy Converse the nutritionist and she told me that height is tied in to protein absorption. If your child is putting on weight but not height, check for protein malabsorption. We have the same problem and my daugher does not absorb protein well. --- Στις Σάβ., 26/03/11, ο/η Caryn_Reid <caryn_reid@...> ÎγÏαψε: Από: Caryn_Reid <caryn_reid@...> ΘÎμα: [ ] Re: How to boost height? Guest guest
We had a different issue: growing in height pretty well but not putting on weight. My son went nearly 18 months without gaining a pound, but gaining inches. We started a prescription pancreatic enzyme, Creon, after an IgG food allergy panel showed very high reaction to all animal meat. My son put on 6lbs in 6 months. His appetite broadened beyond chicken nuggets, to include entire hamburgers, slices of pizza and bowls of pasta (he used to only eat uncooked noodles). We used Creon for over a year and then stopped after the benefits seemed to wane. He did not continue to gain weight on that pace, but he remains at about the 50th percentile in weight and 95th in height. Muscle mass is still an issue. He doesn't have a ton. Just our story. I really liked what Creon did for growth. Pam > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I have 9 yo daughter .
