Guest guest
Hi Andy, Even one bout of antibiotics causes candida. It is obvious your friend has candida, and the only way to cure it is to do the entire program (diet plus supplements). Any topical treatments may help alleviate the rash, like coconut oil, cod liver oil, etc., but it won't go away until he builds up his immune system enough so it will turn candida around from overgrowing to normal again. The rash is caused by toxins, mostly from candida, which the body mainly gets rid of through the skin. Candida also causes bladder infections. I suggest your friend try applying cod liver oil since it helped a out so much - he should get a good one like I recommend and rub it into all areas where there is rash To cure his bladder infection he should drink parsley tea; see the article on Urinary Tract Infections: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/women5.php Taking epsom salt or baking soda baths can help the rash; baking soda helps alleviate the burning and itching. It can also be applied after cod liver oil or coconut oil, by patting it on. The best, Bee > > Hello I have a friend who has a bad antibiotic induced yeast > infection. Guest guest
you would benefit also from the group on . Anyone with yeast infection anywhere on their body or inside should look into this program. sherri yeast infection strange coincidence that i took Fife's book out at the same time I have what turns out to be a yeast infection that has been driving me to depressive depths. i am post-menopausal / 10 years post breast cancer with the all the ensuing vaginal atrophy problems, for which I have been doing a regimen of vagifem intravaginal tablets, and topical estrace cream for the outside. Like once before, these seem to trigger yeast infections in me, so like the dr. said i'm damned if i do and damned if i don't. anyway, before the lab report came back and definitively showed yeast, i put a little VCO externally on the area, and it did feel a little better. the gyn said that that was because coconut oil is an anti-inflammatory. I was shocked that she even knew that much. I was debating to hold off on getting the prescription for the anti- yeast meds, Terazol intravaginal cream, and Diflucan oral tablets filled and try an experiment, which would be to use the VCO internally as well as externally and see if it would kill the yeast. But I chickened out, was in too much discomfort for too long and just wanted it fixed asap. I figured i would incorporate VCO into my diet everyday as a maintenance. Can anyone venture an answer if the VCO would have worked intravaginally? Just curious.
Guest guest
The group is not so useful because the owner/moderator Bee Wilder misguides people by disagreeing with or disregarding very important facts. Many members and ex-members of the group, including one of the ex-moderators, have vented this opinion on the more accurate candida group, candidiasis: candidiasis Some of their comments appear here: http://members.shaw.ca/duncancrow/comments.html Duncan Crow > > you would benefit also from the group on . Guest guest
> Can anyone venture an answer if the VCO would have worked > intravaginally? Just curious. Yes, it does. At least for me. According to many sources, VCO is effective against yeast infections and dryness. Aside from being light and non-sticky, it's better than any cream I've ever tried. Another thing you can try is balancing the " flora " down there. Just like we need healthy gut flora, so too do our vaginas. In fact, Donna Gates who wrote Body Ecology recommends Continental Liquid Acidophilus for this. I also found this, which is not really different than any other good probiotic out there: http://www.vitaminexplorer.com/detail.aspx?ID=7260 If I were you, I'd eat as many fermented veggies as I could hold, drink tons of kefir and yogurt - the homemade kind, eat lots of coconut oil, like 4 or more tablespoons per day, make coconut water kefir and use coconut oil, inside and out. -vanessa .... ever tried a frozen coconut milk pop? holy yum! Guest guest
VCO used intervaginally has another added benefit. It tastes good. A long time ago I had a girlfriend who used some prescription med creme for her yeast infection and it made me sick. So I stopped having sex with her until she stopped using it. She felt hurt and rejected, but I sure was not going to make myself sick. Guest guest
Why not? It is a very important area. Close to it, I use VCO for my hemorhoids. Very effective to control irritation and inflammation. I no longer worry about it. Guest guest
> > Dear Bee, > > I don't want to use antibiotics from my doctor for vaginal yeast infection...do you have any natural remedies for this problem? +++Hi Star. You can always do a Search on my website for such help - enter vaginal and you'll get this article which has natural remedies: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/women6.php Direct treatments can alleviate some of the symptoms, but the only way to cure vaginal yeast is by doing the whole program so your immune system gets built up with proper nutrients (this diet and all supplements) and by eliminating toxins and foods that feed candida, along with eliminating toxins in general, etc. Bee

Guest guest
Hi Dianna and EveryOne, Kombucha cannot cause a yeast infection, - the yeast in Kombucha is not the kind that causes infections, however, sugar can feed yeast in your body. People have used sour Kombucha to help overcome yeast infections applied both topically and taken internally. Hope you feel better soon. Dianna, the yeast in KT is totally different from the pathogenic yeast responsible for candida/yeast infection: http://www.kombu.de/candida.htm Kombucha and Candida Kombucha, is excellent in combatting the bad yeasts. You might be suffering from detox symptoms as a result of drinking KT. Drink a little less KT for a few days and drink more water, that might help to get rid of the symptoms. Guest guest
> > I have been on the program for about 2 months. In addition to nausea every day between meals when I experience extreme hunger I now have my first severe yeast infection. I noticed being infection free for the 2 months. Why now and what should I do? +++Hi Kathy, Good for you for doing my program! Since you get nauseated it is most important that you do everything you can to improve your digestion - see this: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php#s28 Since you've had yeast infection before, when your body is healthy enough on this program it will be " retracing " or " re-experiencing " it, just like it does all past symptoms, illnesses, diseases, organ malfunctions, injuries, etc. - see this article to understand retracing: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal10.php So that's a good thing since it means you are making progress. All the best, Bee
Guest guest
A week ago my son was given an antibiotic due to a severe ear infection. This morning I have noticed that his urine smells very strong. I am wondering if he doesn't have a possble yeast infection. Since starting his antibiotic he has been taking diflucan. I have doubled his probiotics as well. I am wondering what I can do to help treat a yeast infection? Any thoughts are welcome. Kathy
Guest guest
The " Flower of the Ocean " celtic sea salt is much more expensive than the grey. Which do you use and what is the difference? Guest guest
Sorry - just wrote - I've been using the pink Himalayan sea salts for the last year and haven't seen a reduction in yeast. I assumed this was just as good and mineral rich as the celtic. Do you know anything about the Himalayan pink salt? I really love it. _Rosegvr@..._ (mailto:Rosegvr@...)
