Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am new to this board. Hoping to get some help. My 7yr old son was just diagnosed with Aspergers and ADHD. I am in search of a good DAN dr that someone uses and is happy with. Not willing to travel too far - I live in SW suburbs of Chicago near Naperville. Thanks so much! Guest guest
I know a lot of people like Dr. Usman and she is right in Naperville. Guest guest
I think the phrase a " good Dan! " is almost an oxymoron. I know of only two Dans! who advocate safe, effective chelation for all their patients. in Seattle, Washington and Dr Suzanne Fleeson in Conway, PA. I would, if I were starting out today, move heaven and earth to get to one of these people. I would not cross the street to see any of the others. Why would I waste my time and money on someone who does not even know how to safely or effectively chelate my child? > > Hi everyone, > I am new to this board. Hoping to get some help. Guest guest
Dr. Usman would definitely not fall under 's idea of safe, effective chelation clinic. I don't know if she still does IV chelation, but I do know she isn't an advocate of the low dose, high frequency method. My son was a patient between 2004-2007. If anyone wishes to contact me, I do have some opinions. She is a very nice woman. 7 years ago, my initial consult/tests cost $1500. $450/hr for her time. I think $350/hr for nurses time. Not cheap. Very full practice. She might actually not be open for new patients (common). Pam > > > > Hi everyone, > > I am new to this board. Hoping to get some help. Guest guest
Just wondering about the dr. you talked about in PA. can you tell me more about her. I am a reasonable distance and would be interested. I have seen a DAN who I like, but was going to see a homeopath since I read about Dr. Pierre and homeopathy for autism (actually working with pddnos). Though the DAN dr did do tests and found my daughter is mtfhr...we've gotten small gains with the gfcf diet, and am starting the injectible Mb12 so am excited for that....but would like to see a homeopath as it sounds a bit simpler and cheaper and really a little more direct. My mind and my pocketbook swim everytime I read and think about which supps we should be taking. So I guess my question is what makes this dr. PA better. Thanks,
Guest guest
" She is willing to be flexible and allow people to chelate in different ways. " Your missing the point entirely. So basically your saying she will " allow " you to do whatever chelation you want take your money and have you do everything? The point is going to a Dr who is knowledgable and advocates safe low dose chelation. Not a dr who " allows " you to do what you want. If that the case save yourself some money as you can do it on your own, which many do successfully. > > > > Hi everyone, > > I am new to this board. Hoping to get some help.
