Guest guest
It helped my son with language and with healing, though we still have a ways to go. Check out the study done on it at UC Berkley. I believe it is a very important amino acid. I take it too, if I take it regularly, I feel better and have more energy. Guest guest
> Can anyone share their experience with Acetyl-L-Carnitine. Does it help with language? Thank you in advance. My son did best with l-carnitine, not the acetyl version. However, yes it helped with many things. It was required for the proper absorption of fats, B vitamins, vitamin C, and TMG. And those things were very helpful for many things, including language. Carnitine is also helpful for low muscle tone and a few other things. Guest guest
Dana and others, Where did everybody buy L-carnitine and Co-enzyme Q10. My daughter can not take capsules so we need to find some liquids for her. Thanks. ________________________________ From: danasview <danasview@...> Sent: Thu, September 16, 2010 9:30:59 AM Subject: [ ] Re: Acetyl-L-Carnitine > Can anyone share their experience with Acetyl-L-Carnitine. My local health food store. >>My daughter can not take > capsules so we need to find some liquids for her. I think carnitine can be purchased as liquid. I have not seen CoQ10 as liquid, but I suppose you can open the capsules and mix into something. One of the best things I ever did was to teach my kids how to swallow capsules http://www.danasview.net/casules.htm Dana
Guest guest
Ricky, I just had our latest appointment with our DAN! and he recommended Nano Cell Q ($37.75 at his office) because it was more bioavailable. We have just started using it for a couple of days but it happens to be liquid and orange flavored so I thought I would mention it. Hope that helps! > > Dana and others, > > Where did everybody buy L-carnitine and Co-enzyme Q10. Guest guest
> Dana, > So ALC increases yeast? I used l-carnitine at my house, and it did increase yeast here. >>That I did not know! I think my son has received > great benefit from this, so provided we have a good yeast protocol in place, > can we continue using it? Pretty much every supplement my son needed for recovery, tended to increase yeast. So, just because something increases yeast, does NOT mean you should stop using it. To answer your question, since you are seeing benefit, then continue using it and increase the yeast protocol. Dana
