Guest guest
Becky, I think you maybe right about the die off causing the behaviors. My son tends to have these die off behaviors if I don't give a little charcoal 35-45 minutes after GSE, OoO, he will show the die off in his behavior (giggles silly) and it's a challenge to get him to pay attention at that point. So the charcoal works pretty well for us, sometimes I only need 1/2 a cap. > > Hi guys, > > I'm usually able to control my son's yeast issues pretty well with probiotics > and Candex. Guest guest
Is your son sensitive to phenols? I just remembered that when I started giving my son GSE, I wasn't aware of any phenol problems and it turned him into a drunken sailor. Does your son get red cheeks and/or ears with GSE or any food (fruits or veggies)? If you think it might be the problem, No-Fenol enzyme 5 minutes before dosing really helps us. > > > > Hi guys, > > > > I'm usually able to control my son's yeast issues pretty well with probiotics > > and Candex. Guest guest
I'm actually not sure if he has phenol issues. He does get red cheeks and ears ocassionally. Now that I think about it, his cheeks were red yesterday after I gave it to him. Hmm...maybe I should just try something else??? And I'll definitely buy some AC. Thanks so much!! Guest guest
It sounds like phenols are the trouble...I found that so many things I was letting my son eat were causing this goofy behavior. I was so confused at the time because I was thinking it was a yeast issue and like you, I had a good yeast protocol in place. Then read about phenols and made a list of all high phenol foods I would have to remove. I try to stay moderate to low phenol because he is really sensitive. I found out later that many times when he couldn't sleep at night it was because I was letting him eat foods with high phenols and he would be laughing and singing half the night! So No Fenol has been a Godsend for us. Good luck > > > > > > > > Hi guys, > > > > > > > > I'm usually able to control my son's yeast issues pretty well with probiotics > > > > and Candex. Guest guest
Thank you ! I'm definitely going to give the N0-Fenol a try. Guest guest
OK gave it again today...about 2 hours ago. No reactions yet. No red cheeks or anything. So maybe it's not a phenol issue. I'm so confused. I think I'll continue through the weekend and see how he does...
