Guest guest
I had my triglycerides checked periodically thru both treatments. More with the oncologist than the gastro. Mine are always high and on treatment they were sky high. Alley

Guest guest
Well, my itching they say is caused by a funky immune system caused by interferon. My rash started about a month after I finished treatment. My liver is good, so mine has nothing to do with the liver per se. All my labs are good. So, all I could advise is take this rash thing seriously. I take massive amounts of antihistimines daily to keep the incessant itching at bay. My skin has scabs from my itching in various places, which have caused some skin infection problems and now I'm on antibiotics. Good luck Willem. Guest guest
triglycerides are actually aliens from the planet Triglyc. they invade our body quite unnoticed and feed off the glucose in our bodies and puff up like big grub worms. lots of triglycerides over a long period of time really hurts us as humans, but we seem to tolerate a modest to low amount. the only way I've heard of to rid ourselves of these pesky aliens is to lower our sugar intake (and sugar/carbs) and increase bulk which plays bumper cars in our blood stream with the nasty critters and drags em out thru our colon. and if you believe that, I have a faster than light bridge in the horse head nebula .......... Guest guest
I didn't think so either, Alley. The viral load is just a measurement of how much virus is in your blood. But the hep or even the amount of liver damage could be causing these problems and that might be what was meant. Guest guest
Hi Willem I don't know anything about the rash you have, but I have a scattered rash on me, mostly on my chest....but I have it in other places too. It's like little red bumps and it can be itchy. I can't see it being an allergy since I haven't used anything new lately....so I think mine is liver related. I see my GI doc next month so we'll see. Carol rashes Hi.Some time ago there was a lot of post about rashes.I felt a bit of a outsider because then I did.nt had rashes. Now I hve them and I remember a song of Bob Dylan.....now you don.t talk so loud when you hve been scrounging for your next meal...something like that, the rolling stone song.(The old hippies know what I mean). Now I hve rashes too.Question.Although I.am neg. my liver had mild fibrosis five yrs ago.Ulta sound last year showed a normal liver. Could these rashes be related to the state of my liver?.I.ll have a biop coming up.I bought Hydrocortisone on the advise of some members and it works.Bagpalm works better but is rather messy. The funny thing is,well not soo funny, that it is itching during the night, late at night. All comments and advise welcome.Have a nice day,it.s spring and summer coming up.Willem.
