Guest guest
Kara, I've had a similar experience this winter with my son. He's had a cough/sore throat/chest infection of fluctuating intensity ever since we began chelation with DMSA and ALA around October. I thought it could be the DMSA, but I've done probably 10 rounds now with ALA alone and I can hear him coughing right now as I type. His immune system has really plummeted this winter, and, of course, the viruses seem to be particularly bad this year, too. I don't yet know whether ALA alone can depress the immune function, but I've pulled back on the dosage. I'm giving him extra A, D3, Epicor and Astalagus, as well as the frequent C and zinc necessary when chelating. I was trying to search the RFA files for more info when I was unceremoniously kicked out, allegedly for not having posted in over a month. In your shoes, I'd lower the dose, too, as well as add immune boosters and modulators. I'm off to search the A-M files! Good luck.
