Guest guest
Sharol, I don't have a log but have used the pain scale[1-10] to keep track of 'behavior'. 8-9 means close to seizure for us. anything above 1-2[mellow] makes me look at changes in diet/supps as that is what really affects my daughter. Almost 99% of the time I can find an offending item and usually one she has taken/bought w/o permission. > > Does anyone have a good tracking log? > > I want to start tracking behavior, diet, sleep etc. > > So that I can see what changes and improvements we see. > > > > I thought I would bring up something interesting. Guest guest
I made up a custom sheet on Excel one page for each day (dated with month/day/year) - a graph of all my kid's supps (with a few blank spaces for add-ins or once in awhile things) down the side, and a space to type or write in the dosages. Then spaces across for the 4x per day we gave supps. (breakfast, lunch, dinner, bedtime). Then I could use that grid to make a graph. I'd use a highlighter to mark when my kid should have supps, and then when they were given, we checked them off (as mixed). That way I could keep track of EVERYTHING going in, when we started and stopped stuff, etc. And, if I was working or taking a sanity break, hubby could just look at what was highlighted at the appointed time, and it the dosages were all there, and he could mix stuff up and give it on his own. Also at the top corner of each page, I had space for which round we were on, and dosage, as well as how it was mixed and along the side of my supp graph, a time chart for when next dose of chelation was due and to check off when given. That way, hubby or my mom if she was over to help, could look and see when next dose was due, and when round would end, etc. On the backside of the page, I had space broken up into 4 sections for " morning, afternoon, evening, bedtime/sleep " . EVERYthing else got put there: food log, behaviors, stims, what therapies he had, if anyone visited, if anything of note occured, any treatments like NAET or energy work, rashes, sleep habits, poops, sensory issues, if he was really having a good day, or an awful day, any progress, etc. I had a way to always look at what may or may not be contributing to my son's improvement or worsening. When things started, or cleared up, how he responded to therapies, treatments, supps, foods, certain people, even the weather or how much activity he got. It was simply a matter of studying the data and seeing the patterns. I spent hours with those charts and notes. Completely worth it! > > Does anyone have a good tracking log? > > I want to start tracking behavior, diet, sleep etc. > > So that I can see what changes and improvements we see. > > > > I thought I would bring up something interesting. Guest guest
I don't know if this meets your need, but here is something I recently posted to a small group I own: Not anything I have used. Just tripped across them. Kids Abacus does not appear to be a math site. It appears to be the same kind of thing as the first one: A behavior tracking tool. http://jeff.io/posts/star-chart-app-for-kids http://kidsabacus.com/ Whoops. That first link is just a blog announcement. Here is the actual site: http://starchart.me/ And an i-phone app with a similar purpose: http://starchart.me/ Michele http://www.healthgazelle.com http://www.kidslikemine.com http://www.solanorail.com > > Does anyone have a good tracking log? > > I want to start tracking behavior, diet, sleep etc. > > So that I can see what changes and improvements we see. > > > > I thought I would bring up something interesting.
