What is this, please help?

My son has been licking his knuckles then running then on his eye area. He's

been doing this for days now. His eyes are starting to look sore. There's no

bruise per say, but they look red under the skin now. Could be he is using

to much pressure. Why is this happening??

He had a rash around his lips for weeks. He had been licking the area, then

started licking his fingers and getting the area around his mouth. This

behavior made the rash worse, but I finally got the rash better with a

lotion meant for eczema, but the habit of licking his hands grew to then

rubbing his saliva wet fingers all over his face all day long and for the

last few days he has been using his fists. he licks then, then rubs his

eyes.
