In layman’s terms, the administration of ethylene diamine tetra-acetate, commonly known as chelation, resulted in a lack of oxygen to the brain as well as irreversible heart damage, said Allegheny County Deputy Coroner Ed Strimlan. We determined there’s a direct correlation between the EDTA and the lack of oxygen to the brain and the heart muscle damage. It’s a total package, based on the autopsy, the histology [tissue sampling] and the toxicology [blood sampling],” Mr. Strimlan said. Re: Chelation Hello , I am currently chelating 2 of my sons. One has ADD the other Autism. We are using TD-DMPS every other day. (drops). Also, oral EDTA. We also do the IV chelation of DMPS and EDTA every 2 weeks. I have seen HUGE results with my son who has ADD, age 8 1/2. My son with autism is 4, is progressing, but not as fast as his brother. Watch this clip from Dr. Buttar who created the DMPS http://autismmedia.org/media1.html You will find Dr. Buttar under Metal Detoxification. Last year through another DAN! dr. we tried TD-DMSA which was horrible for my son with autism. For some kids it might work, but did NOT for my son. I was scared to try DMPS, but found that works for him. On the days we don't chelate, we replenish the body with minerals. Chelation is safe, but there's a protocol you have to follow depending on your childs needs. (followed by frequent labs we do at Care Clinics in Austin, TX). I hope this helps. Guest guest
this was supposed to be included : http://pediatrics.aappublications.org/cgi/content/full/118/2/e534 PEDIATRICS Vol. 118 No. 2 August 2006, pp. e534-e536 Deaths Resulting From Hypocalcemia After Administration of Edetate Disodium: 2003-2005 conclusions: Health care providers and pharmacists should ensure that Na2EDTA is never administered to children during chelation therapy. The CDC recommends that hospital pharmacies evaluate the need to keep Na2EDTA on their formularies. Case reports of cardiac arrest or symptoms of hypocalcemia during chelation therapy should be reported to the CDC Lead Poisoning Prevention Branch () or to MedWatch (www.fda.gov/medwatch), the Food and Drug Administration's adverse-event reporting system. Guest guest
What are these in reference to, the 5 yr old that was given the wrong form of EDTA chelation and died from it a year or so ago? In that case there was a definite medical mistake. Please send the whole story. Thousands of kids are doing chelation and this was one incident that was highly publicized and never in the right context (the wrong medicine was used). Nagla > > > > > > Hi. Guest guest
Right on, Nagla! It's interesting how often people die due to mainstream medical mistakes and it's never mentioned or referenced. Guest guest
Apparently vaccines don't work without all those toxic substances (not talking about the mercury, the other noxious stuff). I think it's the same theory as why autism symptoms may disappear with a high fever: the body drops the chronic to battle the acute threat. Mercury and the other poisons are so toxic that the body is too overwhelmed to bother with the cleansing reactions of measles, or other problems. It's battling the anti-freeze kind of stuff. Francine How could anyone ever tell You You were anything less than beautiful? How could anyone ever tell You You were less than Soul? How could anyone fail to notice that your loving is a miracle; How deeply You're connected to the Whole. Thanks to Libby Roderick and Guidance chelation someone asked about chelation ... sorry don't have time to find the thread ... chelation therapy is never too late. Adults do it. If I were to pass on information, I'd say the best is to find a DAN! doctor who can help determine if its right for your child. Bottom line is, mercury is one of the world's most toxic substances, they evacuate a building if there was a thermometer broken, yet they injected it into our babies? Go figure. Some kids can't excrete toxins and that's when there's a big problem. www.metametrix.com can analyze a urine test to determine markers for possible mercury poisoning. Mercury testing is very difficult because mercury binds to your organs and stays there wreaking havoc on bodies and who knows what the long term health consequences are for these children. The world's toxic enough, why are we injecting more into our babies? For the record, I'm not against vaccines, just get the toxins out of it, space them out and maybe children wouldn't be hurt. Just wondering why there's antifreeze in there to begin with ... I'd say that belongs in the garage not in my kids veins. Chelation can be administered though IV, transdermally, orally or suppository. I think and Jim are doing a wonderful job bringing attention to cleaning up vaccines ... I think they should be commended for their commitment to the future health of all our children. Get the MapQuest Toolbar, Maps, Traffic, Directions More! Guest guest
Hi Sheeba PCARX isn't really a chelator its what they call clathration or something like that, a really really expensive way to buy a bit of ALA as I recall, its years since I ever saw it mentioned. Guest guest
Andy Cutler is the safest and most effective in my view. Also, the low slow dose meant that my son was completely happy and comfortable throughout the whole process. Guest guest
Do you mean stalled on chelation or 2 months not chelating? If you stop for a while then start again its often good to start with smaller doses. Mx Hi,Finished our first round today after a 2 month stall period and did 5 mg ALA 3 hourly, DS is 39lbs. Day two was fantastic but he was irritable by day three. I don't think it is yeast, I really think he was just having a rough time. I increased C and mag but for the next round would you decrease the dosage or perhaps dose at 2.5 hrs? Any other suggestions? I only plan to do DMSA once a month, also 5mg. Thanks in advance,

Guest guest
Did you start lower than 5mg when you first started? If you did then lowering might help. When we first started out on ALA then Sam did do better on 2.5 hourly dosing for a while. Having difficulty thinking at the mo, eye infected and sore, sorry if I am not making sense Mx Mandi, It came out wrong, I mean't to say stopped. I'll try reducing the dose a bit then, Thanks Subject: Re: ChelationTo: Autism-Biomedical-Europe Date: Wednesday, November 17, 2010, 8:40 AM Do you mean stalled on chelation or 2 months not chelating? Guest guest
Mandi,It came out wrong, I mean't to say stopped. I'll try reducing the dose a bit then,ThanksSubject: Re: ChelationTo: Autism-Biomedical-Europe Date: Wednesday, November 17, 2010, 8:40 AM Do you mean stalled on chelation or 2 months not chelating? If you stop for a while then start again its often good to start with smaller doses. Mx Hi,Finished our first round today after a 2 month stall period and did 5 mg ALA 3 hourly, DS is 39lbs. Day two was fantastic but he was irritable by day three. I don't think it is yeast, I really think he was just having a rough time. I increased C and mag but for the next round would you decrease the dosage or perhaps dose at 2.5 hrs? Any other suggestions? I only plan to do DMSA once a month, also 5mg. Thanks in advance,
