Sandy poop after constipation?

Ds was constipated as usual and I gave mag. Citrate after about 2 oz spread out

over 2 days he started having loose stools that are very sandy but also have a

couple of stringy things and some small particles as well? Any ideas?? Also very

red bum , but that could be due to wiping so much to get the sandy poop off!

Help, any ideas?
