Guest guest
Hi , Before I had ever heard of the or A/C protocol or DMSA or ALA I wandered in dumbly and blindly when she was first assessed and put her on EDTA for a bit, I think it was about 4 months with no yeast protocol in place. ( I don't take notes and tend to not remember the details too well - I do admit) We stopped that for a few months got the yeast only kinda under control but it was already an big issue and really had not been before we began chelation with EDTA. Then thankfully I discovered A/C, and read and read for about 4 months or so then dove in. I didn't know much but I knew I wasn't going to wait for the yeast to go away or the stomach to heal. (She had dead patches in her lungs and had some of her stomach seriously damaged from three weeks in ICU after a heart operation). Im glad I didn't wait bcs her lungs are outgrowing the dead spots and her stomach is healing. (Im also crazy enough that I breast fead for three years for the healing properties and all the good stuff that comes with it) Yeast symptoms well I guess they were the usual symptoms everyone gets and ya it did get pretty bad. Sorry its been a few years and I don't keep notes. It was about a year and a half or something like that before it really stopped ruling our lives. It was over two years before I felt like I had control over it. That also was partially bcs of my lack of experience in this all. I read every every every and I mean every post on all the associated with this but it still wasn't enough for me to be able to do it all right and right when I needed to. The answers just seemed to come when I needed them and when I was ready to deal with them. Im so grateful to everyone in these groups. I owe them so much. It has changed our lives profoundly. Don't be afraid of yeast. It comes with the metals and as the metals go so will it. We were careful to not kill too much at once it was so hard on her and always watch for the bacteria to follow when the yeast left. Like I say round and round it goes but the trip does end and you get your kid back. Whats a couple years of sleepless nights (we dose every 2 1/2 hours as she is a fast metabolizer )to have what I have now. round 103. Guest guest
Thank you Simone! Very helpful. Some people say that yeast is minimized after a year or 50 rounds.. I'm at about 45 rounds (but over 4 years since I can't chelate much more than 10 rounds a year) and it's not changed much in the last 45 rounds. I do control it somewhat with the GSE and biotin -- but it's never gone. My life is slowing down a little this year, so I'm planning to get in 20 or 25 rounds minimum this year. It sounds like it took 100 rounds (2 years of weekly chelating) for yeast to really be minimized. I've been tormented by yeast for several years so I'm eager to see some progress. I should be at around 60 or 70 rounds at the end of this year. I can't wait to see some yeast progress! I use to see lots of progress being reported -- regarding yeast -- at the 50 round mark -- but I notice some of reports seem to indicate that it's more like round 100. I guess it has to do with how toxic people are to begin with (I suspect I was very with a mouth full of amalgams that started breaking down over a decade ago). I'd had them removed not knowing anything about a 'safe' protocol -- but I'd read enough to mistrust the mercury so I started having the composite put in instead. Still, I know I swallowed some mercury. The last 4 I had removed 4 years ago on the safe mercury protocol, but some leaks anyway I'm sure. It takes forever to get in rounds because my sleep is messed up anyway -- even when I'm not chelating. There were times I'd miss a full night or two some weeks. Since doing 45 rounds, I now only miss 1/2 nights (still so hard to work on just 3/4 hours sleep). Since just losing 1-2 half nights sleep every other week, I've done better (and should be able to get in more rounds this year). So, I guess that is solid progress. My sleep is better -- not worse. Though it's not totally restored yet. Thanks again for sharing all the details. I bet there is a lot more progress with your child than having the yeast under control. It must be such a miracle to see how people's kids come back... one small shot having taken everything away in a moment ~ but years of toil, expense, sleeplessness and become mini medical experts is what it takes to put things back that a one-second shot can destroy. Here's to everyone's recovering kids! (I'm a chelating adult - with no biological kids). /Rosegvr
Guest guest
That is a miracle Simone and wonderful to hear. I love hearing these stories about recovering children. I'm a kindergarten teacher so children are very dear to my heart. Do you also chelate yourself or just your child? I think I would have been more consistent for a child than I was for myself. Trying to teach full-time was such a stress that I just didn't have energy for much else (exercise and chelating were things I constantly battled to do). Even taking supplements twice a day was hard but I always took my C and a few others. But, when you are so exhausted, it's not easy to wake up in the middle of the night - esp. when you are not use to sleeping through the night. It feels crazy to wake yourself up with an alarm! But you have to. I think you're right about yeast being better at the 50 round mark and a lot better at the 100 round. It's such a slow process that one can become very discouraged. These stories are great motivators to keep going. I seems like many people need more than 100 rounds to be healed (even children who had no fillings)! Blessings to you. I enjoyed your story! /Rosegvr
