I was looking up Ester-C and came across the posting below; I had the same

question about " citrate form " and vitamin c in relation to pH levels. Could

someone please clarify the conflicting statement, please.

Regarding Ester-C, should I be buying the tablet form in order to cut or crush

the tablet to provide the recommended measures for our various body weights?

I'm chelating first and then our son.

American Health's Ester-C which I purchased today is in vit C calcium ascorbate

1000 mg nad calcium 110 mg, it also includes citrus bioflavonoids complex 400

mg. Is this good to use, or would it be better to use separate products for vit

C, one for calcium and another for bioflavonoids (not sure if the bioflavonoids

is necessary as part of the supplementation support).

Also according to our DAN/ND and our son's bloodwork results, he has vit E

levels (alpha-) " of an alcoholic's liver " , so I stopped giving him his multi-vit

since his vit E was flagged as High, but the supplementation support recommends

vit E. I wondered if his vit E was actually High or are the reference points

not good reference points to use, e.g. adult reference range versus a range or

measure for a child, or is it an old reference and should have been adjusted a

long time ago by the labs to be more accurate, etc.

It didn't look like " Lenas408 " 's questions were answered via the 'board, so I am

still curious about what the answers would be as well.

TIA,

Sheila

protocol support requirements and have a couple of questions on dosing.

> Looking at " Welcome to the autism mercury group " in files i find conflicting

statement. under " Supplementing for Chelation " second paragraph it talks about

giving vitamins in citrate form can raise ph and should be avoided...then it

goes on to say vitamin c is recommended in ester forms as it raises ph....

(raising the ph was something to be avoided according to the prev

statement...???)
