Guest guest
Sorry to hear that your son regressed. The hair test is a tool but it's not definitive. The best way to see if he has metals is to use chelator (ALA) and see if he reacts. It will not be noticeable if he doesn't have metals. You can ask some of the parents here for starting doses since I've never chelated a child (just slowly working on myself). If he doesn't react to a small amount, you can try upping the amount. Thanks for reporting about the cilantro. Some people are curious about other chelating methods. Because you did give cilantro all day -- you may have minimized day-time redistribution (the half life of it isn't known but keeping it in his system all day would cover a range of half-life possibilities); however the problems you note probably happened at night when he wasn't drinking the tea (so he had perhaps 90 days of redistribution right on top of each other). I'm not sure about the iron or the hair test (I'll let others interpret). I feel the trial ALA test is the best way to see if he need chelation. Because you used the cilantro and he regressed since that time, it may well be that he needs to have it pulled from re-distribution areas. Best wishes, _Rosegvr@..._ (mailto:Rosegvr@...)
