Guest guest
The two protocols could not be more different! Cutler advocates low dose (1/2-1/8mg per pound)given every 3-4 hours based on the half life of the drug so that there is a consistent amount in the blood stream minimizin the redistribution period. http://onibasu.com/wiki/Cutler_protocol DAN! Protocol is large infrequent doses so and it is risky and can cause redistribution. Also many psychologists warn against the frequent consistent use of suppositories on children. High dose infrequent chelation has caused permanent regression in some. http://onibasu.com/wiki/Comments_on_other_protocols > > Hi Group, > > We are finally getting serious about starting chelation for our 3 1/2 year old son. Guest guest
please seriously reconsider following the suppository protocol your doctor gave you. I know that many parents have not had the opportunity to do chelation on themselves like I have, but I cannot image taking chelators in such high doses so infrequently. I will begin to feel sick on a round if my dose is late at all. I can't imagine doing this to kids, since most of them can't really tell they feel badly. If you want to be safe..use frequent low dose as per Dr. Cutler. There is no need to suppositories at all. By passing the gut does not reduce yeast and who wants medicine administered in that method all the time? I've seen to many people come to me later on after doing a DAN protocol that had made their child worse or caused side effects....its harder to fix this after the fact, than if you just begin safe low dose oral chelation from the start. Guest guest
Cutler method is low and slow--low doses, and generally 3-day rounds with the DMSA given every four hours around the clock and then the ALA added--changing to 3 hours during the day and 4 at night. Barb [ ] Difference between Andy Cutler method and other? Hi Group, We are finally getting serious about starting chelation for our 3 1/2 year old son. But what I'm still not entirely clear about is what is the difference between the Cutler method and using a DMSA suppository as our DAN doctor is recommending? Thank you for your help,
