Trying different zinc

One year ago, after a blood test showed that my now almost 5 year old son was

zinc deficient, we started 20 mg. Zinc Drink (Zinc Sulfate) once/day. It

resulted in extreme gains. His moods improved and over a few months he started

imitating and talking. Zinc drink is expensive and hard to get into him,

especially since we're now chelating and trying to keep him well supplemented.

Five days ago we switched to zinc picolinate. The regression is in his

pottying...he is having constant pottying accidents. For months he has been

consistently peeing in the potty but now has been going in his underwear for 4

days.

Can anyone advise on why he seems to need zinc sulfate? Is zinc sulfate

available Anywhere in capsules? Perhaps zinc methionine would be worth a try.

We are chelating lead and mercury with DMSA and ALA and are on round 6.

Thank you,

Rose

My boy does much better on liquid vitamins than on capsules. Could it be due to

the absorption?
