Guest guest
For my son, eliminating foods listed on the Feingold diet, and those to which he tested in the allergic range, made a HUGE difference in the violent/aggressive behaviour! Major problems created by food colorings and preservatives, and foods such as grapes/raisins,oranges, and grape or juice. I eliminated foods, but I hear that many parents use a product called no phenol, because the problems are evidently caused by an inability to handle salycilates and/or phenols. I don't know much about the products to add to help with this, but I'm sure that you can find them by googling. Lists of foods on the Feingold diet is also available on-line, just Google. Check your library for a copy of a book by Dr. Doris Rapp, called " Is this your Child? " she suggests keeping a food diary-writing down everything your child eats, and also the behaviour, to see if there is a correlation. This was a big help for me! My son is 21, so not much info was available at the time, although, if I would have had a computer, and would have known what to look for, there probably was mor info out there, that I just wasn't aware of. I've done supplementation, but still have not done any chelation. Also, test for shellfish and iodine allergies before having any tests using medical dye!! ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ No need to miss a message.
