Guest guest
Hello, Would you please look into my 6.5-year-old son's hair test results from DDI and let me know any comments that you might have. We are getting ready to start the first round and we need to determine if he would be a good candidate for chelation after receiving these results. The counting rules show normal mineral transport and all of his Potentially Toxic Elements are in the GREEN section. However, I need to add that he was on cilantro tea for three months (8 tsp cilantro in 1 quart of water drank throughout a day) and the three months ended about 1 month before the hair test sample was taken. That was a big mistake because he regressed (difficulty concentrating, worse attention, more spinning, also more anger). What if that moved most of the mercury from his body into the brain? Should we supplement iron? I've once heard that low iron may mean that there is actually iron overload and all the iron supplemented goes into iron storage in the soft tissues making things worse. He has multiple food allergies and some environmental. These days he coughs very often after he falls asleep and stops after we give him warm tea with honey. I feel that he may need ACE †" is there anything in his test results that would point to that need? He hasn't had eczema since we started GFCF. At 4.5 years he was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome and unfortunately it seems he's been slowly getting worse with everything we tried. I wonder if chelation is what we missed to try... On the bottom, I will also include some of his blood test results that are on the edge of the reference range in case someone thinks it might help. The blood sample was collected about one month before the hair sample. I would really appreciate if you can let me know your opinion. Thank you so much for your time.
