Guest guest
Very common problem! For my son, the poops were bulky and difficult to pass. I was able to make it less stressful for him by using magnesium citrate supplements to soften the poops. Sometimes it took as little as 170mgs (capsule), but other times it took more. Also, NoFenol digestive enzymes helped make my son's stools less bulky. If you have more questions, you can ask Devin Houston (of Houston Neutraceuticals) directly. He gave me the suggestion of NoFenol and I was grateful! My son is 9 now and this has not been a problem since about age 6. Treating his underlying pinworm infestation also helped greatly, but that is not always the cause of chronic constipation. How often is he pooping? Daily? Every 2 days? Once a week? I hope that helps. Pam > > hi 6yrs old any suggestions. he pees in the potty but hve a hard time doing the BM.
