The sunscreen chemicals react with ultraviolet rays in the basal layer of your skin and create toxins. It also encourages people to spend far too long in the sun unprotected by clothing. Guest guest
Well, I moved to Florida from California, and in my area and with my perspective, it's backwards! Maybe you are lucky and don't live in a smaller town that is full of uneducated, unambitious losers who smoke whatever they can, use recreational drugs excessively and just generally don't take care of themselves, but that is exactly the type of place that I moved to without realizing what I was getting into. I'm working on undoing my mistake though. > > > > > > > Gracia, > > > > Could you refresh my mind on what I should take for adrenal support? Guest guest
LMAO, what you are referring to are rednecks! And I grew up in a small town. People knew more about what I was doing than I did, *snorfle* Seriously though small towns can be kinda clannish, my town had a population of 900 thereabouts. Heh. And there was one traffic light. Guest guest
My town isn't that small, Bethann...But it's full of what I like to call white trash (otherwise known as red necks)! And it's really getting to me because it's very depressing to be surrounded by that...especially when you are trying to date. Guest guest
Now hold on, LOL. White trash and rednecks aren't always equal. There are rednecks that aren't white trash. Some of the rednecks are good people. Most of the younger ones are kinda wild. My town had plenty of rednecks but not a lot of white trash. Overalls were the dress code, cause most of the folks in my town were farmers. And everyone was kin to everyone else. Guest guest
Well, I think the terms red neck and white trash are used interchangeably in my area...I always thought there was a difference between white trash/red neck and country people. I think you are using red neck the way I would use " country " ...and I agree...Those people aren't bad...But what's in my area is the bad variety. > > > > > > > > > > > > Well, I moved to Florida from California, and in my area and with my > > > > perspective, it's backwards! Guest guest
Sherry - Perhaps you should Look on the brite side, take your iodine and become grateful---even though it may be hard, try to be grateful for even one small thing each day. There are rednecks, white trash, and drug users in all walks of life----even the upscale California people are affected. Try being grateful and do take your iodine. Are you serious? That's horrible for your skin. At a minimum, it causes premature aging. I live in Florida. It's a rather backward state (at least in the non- metropolitan areas), and people aren't good about protecting themselves from the sun. It amazes me how many people I've come across who have had cancerous growths from sun exposure.> > > Gracia,> > Could you refresh my mind on what I should take for adrenal support? Guest guest
This Florida native understands your delima. Things have changed a LOT here in my hometown over the years. I've lived in Chicago and Denver and come back to FL twice. What I've found is that the good and bad elements exist everywhere. Maybe a change of perspective might help. As reminded me, it's best to focus on the positives in our environments, so maybe you and I can help each other with that? I love your web handle...it's perfect for your present situation...a very good way to remind yourself to keep your face pointed toward the sunshine and blue skies. FL does have great skies! > > Well, I moved to Florida from California, and in my area and with my perspective, it's backwards! Guest guest
There are many things that support the adrenals. Licorice root, ashwaganda, L-Theanine, Vit C, Unrefined Salt, Adrenal Glandulars, B Complex. There are so many. You just have to find what works for you. I use Adrenal glandulars and Hydrocortisone (Rx) when I am really bad. adrenal support What is recommended here for adrenal support.

Guest guest
Hannah, what about your levels of ferritin, vitamin B12m vitamin D3, magnesium, folate, copper or zinc? If any of these are low in the range, the thyroid hormone can't work properly. Also, is there any possibility you might have systemic candidiasis or mercury poisoning caused through amalgam fillings. See the attached document. Luv - Sheila I've got up to about 12-13 isocort a day and 2 grains NDT, all with dr p's consent. Before I started on the NDT and just on isocort I had got my temps stable at about 36.8c for quite a while. Since starting NDT my average daily temps have gone down and aren't as stable as they were. Also my basal temps are as low as 36.0. Any idea what all this means- are my adrenals not well enough supported? I do feel a bit better on the NDT but not massively so as I was hoping. Guest guest
My local HFS does not carry Adrenal Cortex Extract, but it does carry ADRENergize by Enzymatic Therapy. ADRENergize ingredients are: Adrenal Cortex Extract - 250 mg Multi Glandular Complex - 100mg (liver, lung, pancreas, heart, kidney, and spleen) Recommended use is one capsule three times daily. Does anyone have any experience with this? My son is 14 years old, 5'5 " and 115 lbs, NT, and we have completed 3 rounds of AC chelation using ALA only. My son's primary issue is chronic fatigue. He has food allergies, asthma, and is also being treated for hypothyroidism, but the only adrenal assessment he had was a blood test several years ago that indicated cortisol levels were in the normal range (per endocrinologist). However, after learning more about the link with adrenals and thyroid, as well as low metabolic energy and its symptoms I suspect he has an adrenal issue. I will order ACE online (what mg?), but in the meantime want to get him started on something to specifically support his adrenals. He is already on fish oil, vit A, B-50 complex, C, D, E, molybdenum, taurine, biotin, iodine/zinc/selenium compounded capsules, l-tyrosine, no fenol, calcium, magnesium, diflucan, Klaire Labs probiotics, multivitamin, and is GFCFEF peanut, garlic, and citrus free. Guest guest
Can't we all share this Sally. Can you let us have these on the group so hopefully, those with low adrenal reserve may benefit too. I could perhaps upload this to our Files section in the 'Adrenal' FOLDER. Luv - Sheila Hi Sally Jarvis Could you email me privately your list of vits/minerals etc for adrenal support. I would be interested to see how you tackled low adrenal function. Thanks Sue x
