Have been on HRT for ages because of surgically induced menopause. Believe me, if your body needs estrogen you will feel MUCH better if you get it. Also protective against osteoporosis, heart problems, etc. And if you're sick of pills ask for patches.<g>
Guest guest
How very interesting! I tested positive for Babs. I also thought for the past two years I was having meno related problems. Blood tests never confirmed any hormone problems, which is indeed normal for peri-meno. Gyn put me on HRT (hormone replacement therapy) as it appeared I was really estrogen deficient. Initially, the estrogen curbed the dizzy/vertigo spells. That only lasted about two months. Now my BP is crazy and the LLMD thinks it's the HRT causing it and that most likely I don't have any meno issues going on. Btw, it would be quite early for me to have these problems, as I'm only just last month turned 41. I've had night sweats for over two years, which in the past six months have been affecting DH's sleep.
