Guest guest
Kelle, Sorry you have not gotten answers - we all are sick and we don't get to things right away. Don't know the best lab in Australia but here in the states Igenex in California www.Igenex.com is the one most people rely on - perhaps they would know one in Australia? Yes, people can contract lyme without knowing they were bitten by a tick or have gotten what is called a bulls-eye rash. There are many theories out there but I believe it can be passed through sexual intercourse, and through other animals including mosquitos. It is not only a diagnosis by tests, it is a clinical diagnosis. You need to find a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor and have them test and talk to you - if you do not know where there is one - ask here but also look for a good in Australia for help. Hope this all helps! Ann -- [ ] Newbie Hi, I joined up a few days ago and it seems my questions have been overlooked, I know they're general but I didn't find the answers in the files and when I have try to search the messages it comes back with over 5000 responses, none listed for perusal, so I ask of you to kindly take the time to give me a clue. And I'm hypothyroid without Hashi's, and my doctor followed instructions per the ldn website and started me off at 1.5. Good luck to us all. Guest guest
forgot to mention that i'm using 2.5 mg of the cream at night. the pharmacist told me this is the equivalent to 4.5 orally. also, my thyroid group thinks my side effects are from the LDN. so, more questions for you all: wouldn't i have had side effects/symptoms sooner than two weeks? i also missed my dose on friday night - wouldn't that have lessened the symptoms yesterday? or, am i on too high of a dose right now? thanks, tara > > hi all, > > i'm new here...started LDN caps about two weeks ago for leaky gut, but realizing, duh, leaky gut, i switched to the cream a little over a week ago. > > my background: i've had crohn's since '83, but it hasn't been active since '92. i've had several surgeries, including ileostomy surgery in '92 (bag). i started having very strange symptoms around '95, food related, lots of bad sinus infections, weird debilitating headaches, etc. i had periods of remission, particularly after treating for candidiasis, but around 2004 things started to take a bad turn. fast forward to today and i have adrenal insufficiency, am hypothyroid (non hashi's) and am only able to eat turkey, onions and cashews. and i only eat them because i react to them the least. i react to everything i eat, hence the leaky gut diagnosis (other symptoms indicate it, as well). > > i started treating for the adrenal fatigue and hypothyroidism in 2007, and am still on hydrocortisone and T3. it's taken me this long to get to LDN, but i'm grateful to be trying it and i really hope it works for me. > > now, my question today is coming from some symptoms that i'm having. i'm sweating, have had headaches for a couple of days, nausea, slight diarrhea...symptoms that i believe can be caused by hyperthyroid. i understand about the risks associated with hashi's and going hyper, so i'm wondering if a similar risk applies with just regular hypothyroid people on thyroid meds. > > any thoughts on my entire case as well as my latest symptoms would be appreciated. > > thank you! > tara >

Guest guest
I have a son that is starting to show autistic behaviors... he is a twin (has a twin sister)... she shows no symptoms. Since it has really only been the last year that these seem apparent, I want to make sure nothing environmental is contributing. He is 6 1/2 now, we only gave him the first rounds of injections, and he had a poor reaction... he was very ill high fever for three days. Since we never had a reaction before, I was worried and stopped inoculating him as well as his twin sister. (though my husband is pressuring me to at least inoculate his twin sister so he is SAFER) I don't want to just starting TREATNG him without testing, as I think that is a major issue with the medical field to begin with is drugging and inoculating without ever checking current levels and what is NEEDED or SAFE. So where can I find a basic list of items that I should have tested for? Mercury, Iron? If Kaiser will not do them, what is a good clinic or center that I can pay to have them done at? We are in Southern California (Temecula area)... anyone else in this area? Any help welcome. Are there basic dietary changes we can start now? (not ready for cleanses etc) Is there a good journal form to track what we are doing, dietary changes etc. (if not any suggestions) As well as behaviors? (again any suggestions) On the PJ's how can we tell what ones are SAFE as far as chemicals? Same with washing bedding etc. Are the Tempur-pedic beds SAFE or better? What are some good blogs or journals that moms have kept?
Guest guest
I buy from "alldaychemist.com", yes the shipping is expensive but it is a flat rate so if you buy 50 tablets the per day cost is quite modest. I have hep C and before I had a blood test I was using LDN for 1 year, wanted to give LDN a chance to work. I have AST & ALT results since 1995 as well as several test ending in 2004, the reading were always very high. The blood test that I had recently showed AST and ALT in normal range and the viral load is about 10% of what it was.SterlingFrom: Rod <rodgis44@...>Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Newbielow dose naltrexone Date: Sunday, March 6, 2011, 3:41 PM Hi all, I'm blessed with HIV and HCV, and have been reading about and just introduced to LDN. I'm 66, was just diagnosed in December, started ARV's a month ago. And I live in the Philippines. I would like to hear from others who have experienced positive results who are also co-infected, and any suggestions for ordering on this side of the world. Shipping from USA is expensive! Thanks, Rod
