Guest guest
A friend's child is taking an iron supplement called Floradix daily, and it is helping him sleep. He's always been a poor sleeper (borderline aspergers with gut difficulties - GFCF and sleep probs and mild OCD). I told her I was concerned about giving him too much iron, and she stopped it, and he is not sleeping again. We guessed that perhaps the vitamin B6 was helping his sleep, but replacing the Floradix with a small B6 supplement hasn't helped. Any ideas?? Ingredients are below. Thanks. Here are the ingredients: Aqueous extract (54%) from carrots, nettles, spinach, quitch roots, angelica roots, fennel, ocean kelp, African mallow, blossom and orange peel, fruit concentrates (29%) of pears, red grapes, blackcurrants, oranges, blackberries, cherries and beetroots, aqueous extract of iron-fed yeast with: absorbable iron and added thiamin HCl, riboflavin, vitamin B6 (as pyridoxine HCl), folic acid, vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin prep) and vitamin C (ascorbic acid), honey rose hip aqueous dry extract, wheat germ aqueous extract. Nutritional: Per 10ml serving (%RDA): Vitamin C 10mg (17), Thiamin 0.8mg (57), Riboflavin 0.9mg (56), Vitamin B6 0.4mg (20), Vitamin B12 0.6ug (60), Iron 7.5mg (54)
