Hi a,

Sometimes I feel like I do....Could be doing nothing but sitting on

the couch... I am also wondering if it has alot to do with hormones and I

usually start to really feel it right around the time I start Pms'ing which

is usually 14 days before my period and then it worsens when I have my

period... I want to get my heart checked but as dumb as this may sound, over

the years i've grown petrified that there is something seriously wrong with

my heart and I " m too afraid to find out.. I had an anxiety attack durring an

EKG one day.. it's rediculous I know but unfortunately for me ,allthough

stupid it's a real fear.. So I don't know what to do.....

This brings up an interesting question for me. I also get more heart and

other symptoms during the week or so before my period. I too have wondered if

it is hormonal or possibly related to the Lyme cycle? Anyone know about this?

As far as your needing to see a cardiologist my opinion would be that if

these symptoms are not causing you to be dizzy or faint and they are not

ongoing without a break , I would think the doc would tell you that all is

well. My symptoms through the years have been very bad (including arrythmias

that have caused me to black out) I have gone to so many top cardios that I

cannot remember them all. Every one told me that I was fine and there was

nothing to be done. of course your situation could be different and if you

are afraid then you should check it out as more than likely you will just be

reassured that your heart is healthy. Lyme causes these heart skips we feel -

my opinion is that if you are treating the Lyme then you are doing what you

can to erradicate the heart symptoms also.
