This protest is really taking off. A MAJOR news program, in addition to

ABC news, has said that they will cover the rally if we could guarantee

at least 100 people. Please contact Jeannine ASAP at

jder@... if you are planning to come and let

her know how many people you will be bringing with you.

We managed to get over 100 people at the OPMC rally in the middle of the

weekday. We had over 300 at Gettysburg. We should be able to do at

least as well now that we are getting more media attention and are on

the verge of finally having our message heard. Please come and please

let Jeannine know.

As a reminder: The protest will be outside the Hotel Pierre on June 1st

at 5:45 PM. The Pierre is on 61st Street and 5th Avenue in Manhattan.

We are protesting the fact that Steere, the man whose philosophy

is basically responsible for our difficulty getting adequate care, is

being honored by the ALDF.

, i am so excited about going!! I am like a little kid getting to

cross the street alone for the first time. I am scared, (of a flare

up) but it is something i need to do, i hold him and the doctors who

treated me following his protocol responsible for loosing 1 1/2 years

of my life and counting. i cant believe they are honoring him.
